As for myself I own 3 claims. All placer and unpatented. One in southern New Mexico due west of Silver City close to the Arizona border. The other two are outside of Breckenridge, Colorado.

What's more, I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THEM.

Plan to see the NM claim this week and will have to wait until snow melts (maybe in April) for the Colorado ones.

Anyone have any experience with the MINELAB 4500 metal detector?

I own rights to the Purple Passion Mine in Wikenburg, AZ.

I have smelted some silver there but what I like is the floresent Rocks in the cave/mine!!

They have all seven floresent colors! They are amazing to look at with a UV light!!!!

Minelabs are the best on the market. The 4500 is a good model.

Ed, is that you? Bill is that you?

WOW! willemite, calcite, aragonite, fluorite, wulfenite, smoky and amethestine quartz! Simply amazing! Anything else?

Your stuff certainly rivals Franklin.

What shape is the mine in these days?

Re: Who here owns gold mine claims? Placer or load? Patented or unpatented?
I have two claims, soon to be three. One placer claim and one load claim, both in Nevada. I’ve found gold on both, albeit in small amounts. Dry washing produces a fair amount of gold in my placer claim if you put in the time and effort. I’ve crushed up and panned out ore from my lode claim and it sure as shit has gold, just not visible amounts in the ore. Probably close to 1/4-1/2 ounce per ton. Placer claim is 40 acres and cost me around $600 in federal and county fees. Lode claim is 20 acres and cost me just under $300. It has multiple tunnels and adits and is my number 1 bug out location when shtf in Vegas.

I heard there's a few old gold mines in the Yukon.

Go to the Whitehorse Saloon and for Yukon Erick.
