A weak, and base substitute to real spiritual power. To think that you can raise your spiritual senses by using a baser, lower form of power as the mind.

God's intent for mankind was a higher portion of what we have been satisfied with, and therefore, all those who practice magick will forever be inferior to that purpose. It will always be inferior to a restored divine symbiosis that occurs with the New Birth.

Magick is done through the soul's power of the mind, and is limited in it's ability. True spiritual power, the kind that can bring eternal life, can only be endued by the "Breath" of God's Holy Spirit.

I agree - but most people, especially THAT audience, aren't as adept as you.

But they need a starting point, and this one isn't half bad.

Just did it this morning, finally got the job I've been waiting on for weeks.


Works for me.............. I'm gonna use both symbols in tandem to give a selfish/selfless duality.

I fully expect some unintended results...........and also expect it to move from micro (me) to macro (all) as the intent evolves.


My thoughts about Mr Crowley:

One of the oldest authors on Religion - John Dee - spelled it magick, specifcally.

Crowley used Magic and Magick interchangeably.

I don't think it matters how you spell it - just that you know what it IS and how IT WORKS ( or how to WORK IT )

hmm I meant to say one of the oldest authors on 'magic practice' and out came Religion...

that's saying something..

(not sure that Dee ever wrote about Religion, and he certainly wasn't one of the oldest authors on the subject - mea culpa)

You make a very key observation.

This stuff does work. Not sure why there isn't more talk of it.
