What Are The Biggest Deceptions In The World Today?

This is up for debate, I'm certain.

However, I'm almost 50, and it's only within the last few years that God has revealed (to me) some of the biggest deceptions in the world today.

I'm not talking about the obvious deceptions that most people have fallen for, such as:

1. God doesn't exist
2. The Bible is a fairy tale
3. Women want a sensitive man (lol)
4. Children thrive when they're allowed to express themselves

No, not those obvious deceptions. I'm talking about deceptions of Biblical proportions, such as:

1. The physical land of Israel is the apple of God's eye.
a. I love everyone, including people in the land of Israel, but this is a great deception. The Israel of God, according to Galatians 6 (v.15-16), is comprised ONLY of people who believe in Jesus Christ as the true Messiah. We are "new creatures" in Christ, whether Jew or Gentile.

2. Roman Catholicism is a Christian religion.
a. When I was younger, just learning about the crusades and inquisitions, which were perpetrated by the Roman Catholic Church, I used to be confused by the fact that they called themselves Christians. I couldn't understand how on earth they believed it was okay to slaughter people for Jesus. There are still many today, if given the opportunity, who would gladly assist in wiping out the few (true) Protestants that are left. Sadly, most so-called Protestants today are PINOs or Protestant In Name Only, which means that PINOs are actually Roman Catholic and don't know it. I still love Roman Catholics and seek to free them from their delusion. And to clarify, if you call yourself a Roman Catholic, then you most certainly are NOT a Christian, and I would implore you to actually read and study the KJV Bible. If you are any other denomination, such as Baptist, Non-denominational, Presbyterian, etc.. then there is a very good chance that you are a PINO who practices the Roman Catholic sacraments that are good for the flesh only (i.e. H20 baptism, wafer-cookie-and-grape-juice Lord's Supper).

3. All prophecy in The book of Revelation lies in the future.(For those who don't believe the Bible is a fairy tale)
a. This is a monstrous lie that has corroded the TRUE church. The early TRUE church were historicists who held to the very basic tenet that prophecy is history told in advance. In other words, if you don't learn history, you will never truly understand prophecy. I used to hate history as a public school kid because it was boring and mostly untrue. I've learned more history in the past three years than most people probably ever learn in a lifetime, and that's not really anything to write home about since I've only scratched the surface. Though, I know enough now to know that we are much farther along in prophecy than most people think.

4. Free will - Everyone squawks, "free will, we have free will...aawwwk."
a. Another monstrous lie from Satan to create this era's class of religious pharisees and sadducees. Some believe in a future resurrection and some don't, but they are all blind guides when it comes to God's Word. The only will anyone has, unless God intervenes by His Holy Spirit, is a will that bent toward evil. Salvation comes by God's grace and by the good pleasure of His own will, alone. If you believe that you ALLOWED the Almighty God of the Universe to come into your heart, then you are a modern-day Pharisee/Sadducee.

My intentions here were not simply to offend people. Though if you read this, you probably were. My intentions were to slap people in the face with the truth in the hopes that they will wake up from their slumber. There is much sorrow and travail headed our way, and if you're not grounded in the truth, you will be tossed to and fro by every worldly wind of doctrine and dogma. Seek the truth in Christ Jesus if you're so led, and don't find yourself wondering, when it's too late, what the heck NoFriendOfTheWorld was talking about. But if you do find yourself in that predicament one day, just know that even THAT was God's will.
