The girl in the video is ridiculous. The majority of what she says is not true. We don’t change what we buy, wear certain colors, change what we eat, etc. It is true that we buy sun shades for our front car window. Which I only use two months out of the year, no big deal. No we don’t all have nor need automatic car starters. Here is the bottom line, I moved from WI where we only had two months of perfect weather. Now I only have two months of super hot weather but it’s still perfect early morning and at night during those two months. In WI it was freezing 24/7. No it’s not for everyone, some people prefer the cold. AZ is for those that prefer warm and like an active outdoor lifestyle.

The problem with phx is people wanting move here. Dont come here it's so hot it will make your face turn into an arid zona! Then the critters here suck the remaining blood and eyeballs from you and lack of water here will make your bones turn to sand

Also, the coyotes and javelinas love eating California leftists, so CA folks should be careful and just avoid AZ, altogether.

Seriously, though, you're right; the biggest problem with AZ is all the new people who have been moving here.

Oh, and the woman in the video is an idiot. I moved to AZ from the Midwest many years ago, and the weather is just fine. It's a desert region...of course it's going to be hot during the summer.

I lived in Phoenix and worked outside for three years.

The smell of the citrus groves in the morning was sooo nice.

I didn't care for the August monsoon as I couldn't use the swamp cooler then.

We went back there after I retired to find a place to live, but it had grown way too much for our liking. The university looked and felt like an overcrowded slum. Shame.

My little Midwest town has quite a few young women from Phoenix, starting about 15 years ago.
They are all bums here: work in bars, couch surf, panhandle, etc.
In their little clan of grifters, each is called, "Arizona."
I am not bashing Phoenix, because obviously these women aren't good sources of information about anything.

Why so many old people decided to move there is beyond me. Florida too.

My little midwestern town had no crime for 100 years. Then oil and gas moved a bunch of ex-felons that work in the oil fields from Florida and Texas. Now we have child abductions, hard drugs, murders, sex trafficking, etc.

I have visited AZ and really liked the snow bird life

I was there for business 25 years ago in July/August. It was 118 most days. If you try to go out for lunch, the steering wheel is too hot to touch. If the air conditioning breaks down, people die...badly. I was driving back to my hotel at 1:30AM and I encountered a family out riding their bikes with their kids. Orange flags and all. That is the only time the family could enjoy a bike ride together in a livable temperature. No thank you. Desert is not for me.
