I just noticed that all the bottles had no tamper proofing anymore.. the caps are all defective with someting as if the screw was not made properly... or, it's rotten from the inside and it causes defects in the cap. who knows. But the color is off, and consistency is always off compared to what it used to be.

But it's the same with allt he rest of the ACVs, there are no good ACVs at the stores anymore and nobody cares

basically where the cap is supposed to screw onto the glass, it always looks like something was chipped, aeither the caps were defective or someone is messing with the caps.


But in other brands.. the plastic ring underneath is not secure, allowing for air to come through.

you can usually tell the health also, by the color and the sediment, how it looks, or if you know how it's supposed to look, and it's not normal. Well, it stopped being normal for a while no matter what bottle I get but then again Im not there to look at the choices.. but I also think they could just be purposely selecting the tampered ones all the time.

also one can often tell by the bubbles on top.. if there's too many bubbles, then it's usually off. as if someone shook it, or just the slightest knock causes bubbles that dont dissolve back like they normally should.

also too, people just may not know how/if raw unpasteurized vinegars may need to be maintained by regular swirling... or agitation.

A lot of times too at the bottle of the bigger jugs there is a ghastly sediment which looks off.

thats another thing. I wish people were specific to use apples that are either with no wax coating Or they dont use the peels... only the flesh. Which Im not even sure is possible to do it the way it's supposed to be done traditionally?

It used to have a very dark yellow colour to it and the smell was great. Now after it settles it looks like a jar of urine...and smells like it too.

well i usually attribute such things to things going wrong in storage ie, temperature spoilage. Or, mishandling also, causing the integrity of the seal to get messed up.

but i think it is store specific, bcause it happens to a lot of other things. People just dont care.

At some store selling food from Asian countries, I bought unrefined cane sugar some time ago.

It came in big plastic containers of 1 kg. When you unscrew the lid, you find the metal covering inside does not shut off the contents hermetically, as it's open on one side. It's probably the factory machinery that doesn't work well but I am not sure, you never know. Maybe that's just their way of letting us know they hate and despise us.
