I built a clone but added a little more body and rolled off the highs--but, at some point it stopped sounding like an X-100. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 86484508 I loved the original Rockman, who didn't?! Not sure I know what the x-100 version does differently , but I'm sure it was pretty f'ing cool |

It just seems to make everything better. I run an old Damage Control Liquid Blues and a Solid Metal. I think it’s called a Strymon Sunset now, but the older ones were better. Man, who didn’t have a TS9 or a HM-2 BITD? |

Quoting: Evil_Twin I started back in the 80s with a TS9 and a Boss HM2. Tried 100 of them since then and still have a regular--ass Blues Driver sitting in front of my amp. It does everything for me. Almost Fuzz all the way down to nearly clean boost. Pry my BD--2 from my cold dead hands! DOD processor... boss metal with EQ... love the different tones I can create. |

Makes me sound way better then I really am. The Moore Solo is a very good copy, but you still need the Vox. Last Edited by AnonyMouse Howard on 03/21/2024 11:13 AM |

Awesome amp with all the great boss pedals built in. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80361228 I bought a little Katana 50 MkI about 5 or 6 years ago, it was literally like 2 weeks before they introduced the MkII, lol. Love that thing and it's practically all I play anymore. It just sits next to my couch, under the end table, ready to go. I usually keep a nice pair of headphones plugged into it and sit and play huge metal shows in my head while we are watching movies on the tube. |

Bedrock 600 series head and a Peavey 4x12 loaded with Celestions, of course One of these...just a beast! [link to reverb.com (secure)] |
