If they don't eat, how do they survive?

I had a Catholic (Hispanic) co-worker that always brought me
a breakfast burrito in the mornings- even when he fasted for
his beliefs.
I disagree with much of the Catholic theology,
but I can respect a MAN that honors his CONSCIENCE !

I would eat like a pig. Huge amount of food. Lots of lip smacking & noise. Then hopefully follow it up with burping & farting at coffee break. Maybe even throw in a little banter on false prophets & inappropriate sex with kids.

I thought the whole point of religious fasting was to practice willpower and faith. But I guess to some people it's just about forcing others to not eat or drink. Some religion.

Just jealous because muzz food smells like death. I’d fast too if I had to eat muzz food.

If I recall, he went out on walkabout and came back understanding WHY it was good.

people don't understand graphs and exponents and math

when you have one population that reproduces really quickly and another population that doesn't, and they equally are good at obtaining resources (equal rights under the law), eventually the quickly producing population will comprise a majority

the good news is because global warming is real and no one understands that, Sharia law will only be the norm for a short period of time before everyone dies

a lot of white people who have had nice standards of living and suddenly face a lot of economic pressure, societal changes, and so forth choose not to create children because they don't want them to suffer

a lot of immigrants had more suffering before immigrating and so see harsher economic conditions as nice and choose to procreate more since they see it as an easy situation

the result is there will likely be sharia law in many places. it's a fucking disaster and there's no way to stop it except doing what china is doing, but in a more humane way, and no one is going to vote that legislation in, there would only be a narrow window of time to do it

it's hard to vote that in, just like it's hard to vote global warming regulations in, because it happens 20 years from now. People can't envision what that will be like. Most Muslims now don't publicly advocate for Sharia law and even privately may not want Sharia law. It's only after they a large majority that suddenly they demand Sharia. Prior to that, they will be good rule-following members of society who reproduce extremely rapidly.
