I've seen Paul Jr's fabrication skills in person.

It's.... Not good, to put it lightly. I would not feel safe riding anything he welded together.


Love my skilsaw though! It's as old as me, never quits. I think I've replaced the cord 3 times in 30 years.

I've been in the Chesapeake energy HQ and saw the natural gas powered bike close up. I worked for Caterpillar and actually sat on the bike they built for them.

They are junk.

What a POS! I thought I'd see a bike driven by a bunch of batteries, inverter, and a worm drive skilsaw. Instead, it's an ICE bike with too much chrome.

Have you noticed that on the original show when they built custom bikes the majority had handlebars that were set too far forward beyond the natural reach of your average rider?

They even had the handlebars too far forward on the bike they built for Jay Leno. If the story is true, the bike also had wiring issues due to a basic wiring mistake.

There are welders that throw a bead as perfect as a machine. I wonder why they never hired one to do the welding?

the disks for the brakes should have been in the shape of blades


I burnt out the drive gear in the last good saw I had
pull the trigger and the blade doesn't turn anymore


that old saw was perfectly square

I could draw the line on a 4x4 post
cut the depth of the saw flip it and cut the other portion
and no one could tell it was a double cut

impossible to get a saw like that now
not even the new 500.00 saw
is built perfectly square as the 40 years old Skil I wore out

all of the new saws from every brand have crooked shoes
can't make the 4x4 post cuts perfect

Actually I think their tribute bikes really were made for show, the customer bikes were made for riding. Remember that build off against Jessie, Paulie had had flaming headers build right thru the gas tank, bike only had a 10 mile range. unless....
