Does anyone know any natural heartburn relief ?

Earthclinic.com is an awesome database of ailments and remedies. Look up Heartburn and Belching. Most entries recommend 2 Tablespoons ACV and 1 teaspon Raw Honey in 4-8 ozs warm water. I am having issues too and this works well for me along with no eating after 4 pm, avoiding caffene, heavy meats and just eating soft and light. Good luck!

Yogurt helps I buy the kind with probiotics. Prune juice will clean you out but I wouldn't drink it regularly. I've heard eating dates and prunes work to.

Baking soda and water is probably the best temp fix. It should be strong and make your stomach start expanding immediately when you drink it. Just one decent sip. After a few minutes, you'll burp the most vile, stench-filled cloud of gasses and, voila, no more heartburn.

Permanent fix is keto.

Papaya enzyme

The combination of Zinc and L-carnosine is what saved me. I was addicted to Omeprazole, when the suppressing action is removed the stomach acid production goes through the roof. Once I understood that the original problem was not too much stomach acid, but damage to the lower esophagus then I found an article mentioning Zinc as a primary healing agent. In order for the Zinc to work though it needs protection from the stomach acid... enter L-carnosine in a compound with Zinc, it allows the Zinc to withstand the acid and heal the esophagus. It was recommended in the article to add Ginger capsules and deglycyrrhizinated licorice. Several weeks with this combination and I was cured.

Baking soda in milk works wonders for me.

Apple Cider vinegar. You get heartburn because your stomach is not acidic enough.

Most people with heartburn actually have low stomach acid. This increases with age.

A simple test is to drink 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in 8 ounces of water after a meal.

Stay upright for a couple hours after eating and taking the vinegar solution.

If the heartburn stops, you need to start taking HCl tabs before meals, to aid digestion.

If it gets worse, your stomach acid is fine, and you have an anatomical issue, which may require surgery. (To stop the increased burning, just take an antacid.) In this case, until you can get to a doctor, eat up to 6 much smaller meals throughout the day, leaving 2 hours between meals. And avoid highly processed foods. Try to eat as many whole foods as possible, and eat one food type at a time (protein, greens, carbs, etc separately)

Pickle juice works

Lemon juice mixed with water. Becomes alkaline in stomach and reduces acid.

A doctor is just going to give her a lifelong subscription to Nexium. Yeah, it will stop your heartburn, as long as you keep taking it every day for the rest of your life, but it's never going to cure you. At least ten people on this thread have given her a cure that will cost her less than $5 and will permanently heal her completely naturally with zero side effects. As the saying goes, "Physician, heal thyself." If they can do it, so can we. They don't have a monopoly on healing oneself, or others.

CT has pregnancy-related heartburn, anyway, not a long-term problem. It will go away on its own after the baby is born.

On a side note, though, I don't know how anybody on this site trusts doctors anymore after the last three years. Other than maybe the surgeons, all they are is drug pushers for Big Pharma with fancy pieces of paper on their walls.

A drop or two of pure peppermint

Brags apple cider vinegar. I think you have to take a shot of it a few times a day for extended period. It will actually heal the heartburn problem after a while.

Also, dont eat late at night as others said,

Haven't seen it posted yet but a teaspoon of mustard will stop heartburn in its tracks.

Bi Carb of soda in a small glass of water.

Apple Cider vinegar. They come in gummies too which I find easier to swallow.

Some people think betaine HCL will help. I dunno, never tried it.

I don't know why many are recommending baking soda. Baking soda neutralizes the acid. That makes it worse. You need more acid.

Acid reflux is caused by low acid. The dumbasses on here think acid reflux is caused by too much acid.

ACV works for me every time!

1 part Apple Cider Vinegar to 2 parts water.

Baking Soda. Half a teaspoon in 4 ounces of water. Stir, chug, bye bye heartburn

Best simple healthy answer ... Bentonite Clay ... look it up, supplements in capsule or liquid easy to get(amazon) ... a piece of clay the size of a bb has enough molecular surface area to cover a football field. The product is tasteless and will help detox you which is probably partly why you have the condition in the first place. I keep a quart bottle of liquid form in the fridge and whenever I get indigestion or heartburn I just take a swig or two. Consistency of a vanilla milkshake only no flavor. Great stuff, try it.
