Solution: the Great Reset. |

Where are they? I think overall sales of Christmas stuff will be way off including online. No one has extra money except upper middle class and the Rich. |

Where are they? I think overall sales of Christmas stuff will be way off including online. No one has extra money except upper middle class and the Rich. The money is running out. Anyone with a brain knew it was coming. The financial media kept acting like people would run up debt forever to sustain the buying spree. A few weeks ago there were reports that lower income working people were already tapping their 401ks and home equity. They expected it to move up the income brackets in the coming months. When people don't have money they quit buying stuff. And online sales isn't what is happening, Amazon and the tech companies are laying off workers too. Because there’s another thread today that says the malls are booming with people. I understand black Friday sales were pretty good. So does that mean everything stops on Saturday and Sunday? |

You can’t buy the tube hamburger that cheap! I asked the guy marking all the stuff down why there was so much marked down and why at such a great deal and he said they packed the shelves for the holiday shoppers but nobody bought any of the expensive stuff or much of anything at all really and they were marking it all down trying to sell it. He said they had so many turkeys left that they marked them down 75% and they still had plenty. The economy is most definitely on the ropes and going down for the count! |
