Update. Had my inclusivity and sensitivity meeting today. The idiot was schooling me on my white privilege, until I pointed out that I am actually half Canadian first nations and half Mexican mestizo. She needed a moment to digest that, and then took the tack that unless I am transgendered I can't understand how they feel living in this world. She even asked me if I ever lived on the reservation, and when I said no, that I was never hung up on making sure people knew I was first nations, she said that I am not really native then and insinuated that I have betrayed my people. I am sure I am going to get reprimanded again, but I am maxxing out my dental benefits this afternoon and my resignation email is ready to go. This from a white bitch with gender studies degree.
