CARD XVII.

THE STAR.

A strange emotion seized me. A fiery trembling ran in waves through all my body. My heart quickened its beating, tumult agitated my mind.

I felt that I was surrounded by portentous mysteries. And presently shafts of Light penetrated my being and illuminated many things before in darkness, whose existence even I had never suspected. Veils vanished of which I had been before unaware. Voices spoke to me. And suddenly all my former knowledge took a new and different meaning.

I discovered unexpected correlations in things which hitherto I had thought foreign to each other. Objects distant and different from one another appeared near and similar. The facts of the world arranged themselves before my eyes according to a new pattern.

In the sky there appeared an enormous star surrounded by seven smaller stars. Their rays intermingled, filling space with immeasurable radiance and splendour. Then I knew I saw that Heaven of which Plotinus speaks:

I understood that all the radiance here is thought; and the changing colours are emotions. And each ray, if we look into it, turns into images, symbols, voices and moods. And I saw that there is nothing inanimate, but all is soul, all is life, all is emotion and imagination.

And beneath the radiant stars beside the blue river I saw a naked maiden, young and beautiful. She stooped on one knee and poured water from two vessels, one of gold and one of silver. A little bird in a near by bush lifted its wings and was poised ready to fly away.

For a moment I understood that I beheld the Soul of Nature.

"This is Nature's Imagination," said the voice gently. "Nature dreams, improvises, creates worlds. Learn to unite your imagination with Her Imagination

stonehenge was built in the 50's, 1950's

In 1950 Professor Richard Atkinson and other archaeologists began a thirteen year period of excavations and restoration work at Stonehenge. A decision was made to restore the stones that fell in 1797 and 1900, at a planned cost of £8500. In 1958 the work of lifting the west trilithon began.

The great megaliths that we can't build today were all built a long time ago.

The people who built them are long gone as in dead; as we all eventually will go.

Not only did they build them to teach us about our potential and how advanced we could become, but also to be remembered for.

Thank you. That actually makes me sad thinking life and society may have been not only more advanced, but also kinder. This current world will never reach that level of spirituality. I think we are doomed. And soon.

The Ancients also inspire us with their wisdom, but we're not fully matured yet.
This is why we need to do all we can to see that things like the 'Dark Ages' don't happen again on the next -go-round - for it hampered our technological advancement which keeps us from reaching a more enlightened and peaceful society

Im staring to believe many of this thing were created before the flood with advanced technology like todays . And this I people found those ruins and made them their homes

The answer to that lies with Brandon Fugal and his copy of the history of stone henge from the same period. My guess would be it's a calendar. Idk. Can you tell us?

Yes, that's how I see it and reinforced through research.

Better technology than we have as we can't replicate yet.

If we could it would be a good idea to build a few megaliths with symbols inside that could be deciphered - for the survivors of the next flood that's coming!

That said, to date we haven't properly deciphered what we have in the way of hieroglyphs, even with the Rosetta Stone.

Unfortunately, the clock runs out each time before we advance far enough and why that 'Dark Age' period that set us back 3 or 400 years is so vitally important. Since the 20th century technology as increased exponentially - imagine where we'd be today with just another 200 years under our belt!!!
