You can designate your blood for a specific recipient in an immediate need. I did it for my grandma when she came down with cancer 12 years ago.

I stopped donating to the Red Cross about a year ago for that very reason. If my mom, dad, or kids need blood, it will be right here waiting for them within my body. My wife, unfortunately, is O- so I can't give her my blood, but she's got others lined up.

That being said, there may be something to "shedding". I don't think it's serious though. My spouse is fully vaxxed because of health risks, I am not. We are past the age of fooling around, but in the few instances I did get a wet kiss, I fell ill the next day. Nothing serious, just a mild increase in body temp that would last only about 12 hours. Just didn't feel well. I found it interesting and thought about that "shedding" each time it happened.

True, but I still have sympathy for those who, while they weren't forced to take the shots, they were forced to choose between being able to provide for their families or not. Many of them wanted nothing to do with the shots but faced financial ruin, and that should never have happened. I don't get why you guys are not sympathetic to that situation. Hate on the vax pushers all you want. There's no need to bring a 20-year veteran Marine who was close to retirement, or a mother who needed to continue feeding her family, in to this as anything close to morally equivalent to a Fauci, Bourla, or Biden, or some Twitter bitch saying you're a Nazi for not vaxxing your toddler.

Yeah, they chose wrong and are likely to suffer for it, but their motivations were pure in the face of a lot of pressure, that should have never been there, from their government and employers. Focus on the pushers, not their victims.
