Good shooting though, calm. Straight to the point. Successful delivery of acute lead poisoning. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79327601 BS Hitting a moving target at 180 yds under stress is no small feat. Its easy... lol A moving target is a lot harder than stationary. I think the guy was stationary when the cop fired. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73847342 No one in the ARMY has used an M-16,A1 since 1986.. I know, thats what I'm talking about....200m shots where easy even with the older rifle/iron sights.....I always shot Expert for the 8 yrs I served....40 silhouette presentations and I hit 38+ targets each time....I'm not even a great shooter.... |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80992179 Some here will recall the other police video of the guy wandering around his lawn with a long gun, and the cop shooting and killing him from WAY OFF with only one shot from his service pistol.... Like I said, you'll come to hate 'Physics' eventually. It already destroyed Europe once, and it's about to do it again, PERMANENTLY. There was literally nothing left at the end of WW2. Is it the cop talking or the Benzo and the Steroids talking? The hardest drug in the world to identify still hasn't been identified. Go back and watch the Paddock footage, guy was a ghost the entire time, why? 'Let me just carry bags of shit in, in front of everybody's nose.....' - 'Wow, nobody noticed........' If you think even one shot was ever fired from Paddock's room you have some investigating to do |

Joe "MAGA/ANTIFA" Normie can't make that shot. Exactly, the average person that doesn’t train would not walk up with confidence and down that target first shot. The average person without combat experience engaging an active shooter often gets that ( I feel like I’m going to puke and shit at the same time) feeling. Not an extremely long shot but done like a pro. |

Not an extremely long shot but done like a pro. getting out of your squad car, and making a supported shot of the door is combat? kind of thought it was the getting shot at, leapfrog, shoot and scoot kind of thing. maybe also when the odds weren't entirely in your favor with radios, armor, numbers, vehicles. "combat" |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12762317 "Know what is in FRONT and BEHIND your target". Residential area, a miss could have been catastrophic. Imagine if that round went thru a bedroom wall and killed a little kid? While responsibility for every round fired is a given, when you are talking 5.56 NATO or .223 they tend to expend nearly all of their ballistic energy on the first thing they encounter, grossly deforming the projectile. After that initial deformation, the aerodynamics of the bullet are ruined and they lose velocity/power very fast, a matter of feet. It would sting certainly to get hit with one, maybe slight injury such as a bruise, welt or band-aid type of injury... but it would have to hit you squarely in the eye to cause a serious wound. A bullet from a 5.56 cartridge typically weighs only 55 grains, which is less than a quarter of the weight of a .45 ACP handgun bullet. They just don't have a lot of oompf once they impact the first obstacle to their travel. That equation changes a bit when you have green tip versions, which are designed to deform less and penetrate more. |

Joe "MAGA/ANTIFA" Normie can't make that shot. Most .223 rifles are zeroed at 200 yards. Not a hard shot. Hard on your soul maybe. Most .223 rifles are zeroed somewhere between 25 and 100 yards because most people owning them don't have 200 yards to run them. |
