that shot falls under normal. he wasn't being shot at (the part that makes it combat) and pretty much 95% of shooters and hunters can make that shot on on a doily at 200 yards all day.

no, that AC is right. i've done the same. and from an unsupported position ringing my 8" plate at 200 with wolf. believe whatever you want, modern AKs are pretty accurate, they aren't blown out surplus junk that's lived in the desert for 50 years.

I've done it with a Norinco Type 56 SKS.

That SKS actually will do it.. they shoot much better than an AK. I have a mini-30 that has been worked over for 7.62x39. it will shoot better than both of them. It is on the ragged edge of a 1 MOA carbine when I do my part.

4MOA is 8" at 200 yards, or a man sized target, which doesn't really refute and just seems to support the arguments about enough accuracy for the shot in question.

Not doubting your experience or expertise in this subject area, just stating what experience I've had.

200 yards is 100 yards with squinting. Any flat shooting rifle out of the box is good to go for that shot, and anyone with even a little trigger time will tell you it's pretty easy. There's no ballistics or hold overs, no windage, just point and squeeze.
