There's always something more to find at least.

We're not alone in our sadness. Everyone feels this way at some point or another. The important thing is not getting invested in feelings, because just like the weather, it is subject to change. Still doesn't change the insurmountable emptiness. Can't fight it, just have to let it pass, like a constipation.

Hmmm... Pretty sure I dident choose a lifetime of empty and alone waiting for someone that never showed.

Long suffering with sorrow that's good for the soul. Lonely hearts are better than broken hearts. It's not like we are actually sad, and alone. It is an illusion like a previous poster mentioned. As is happiness, and contentment. How can we manipulate the illusion in order to paint a brighter picture? If the devil is in the details then scrutiny should bring a higher resolution to the faults within. There are not enough words to describe. It is for each his own to understand what they're going through at this point in time. I don't expect acceptance.

There are some wounds that may never heal, and those scars are within the mind.

I personally would much prefer GLP.
Fbook etc are so offputting, a ton of people who cannot stand each other pretending to be friends to look popular.. whilst putting people into "groups" to hide things from them they don't want them to see/know/hear (probably themselves being trashed, lol).
Never mind the endless pretense of happy families or relationships, but they enjoy the company so little in reality they spend the time on a date/family outing, thinking about and taking the photo/s of their meal/outing to immediately place to pretend how great their life is. I mean honestly if you are truly having a enjoyable time that would be the last thing you would think of until the next day.

Would rather be real and lonely then tossed up and full of it, we aint doing so bad really, people are just more honest here.

What are you doing for Halloween, OP? You have the spinning skull decoration, already.

Go to your local senior center, find out what's cooking for halloween.

Bingo, dances, candy giving.

There are a LOT of needs out there.

Go to the animal shelter and make a pets life better for an hour. Start somewhere.

Mine is great now but I have been sad and lonely before!

I was this way until I started taking SSRs. I feel better but can't stop thinking evil dark thoughts.

I feel lonely sometimes but for some reason I hate being aroud people. I have anxiety, worse when I was younger. Easy to have a pity party and ask whats wrong with me that Im so wierd. It doesnt last long though. Most of the time Im not lonely.
