Video posted by Ukrainian channels, of a Russian Ka-52 assault helicopter being hit by a shoulder fired SAM.
It's interesting to see the ejection system in action. You can see the rotor blades are first ejected, then the cockpit panels and later the pilot seats are ejected from the stricken helicopter.
The vast majority of helicopters don't have an ejecting system, so pilots are usually doomed.
This is quite interesting. Unfortunately the uploader had to screw up the footage with bullshit crappy editing.

The first version had just a kilogram of explosive. Lancet 3 was slightly bigger and got a 3Kg warhead and loitering time increased to 40 minutes.
Lancet-4
Entered service with limited number of units in March 2023. Lancet V4 is essentially an improved V3 drone with a significantly larger explosive warhead, more agility and speed, and improved jamming protection.

Russian troops have consolidated their successes in the Avdiivka direction.

Military analyst Yuriy Podolyaka reported that his sources confirmed the final capture of Krasnogorovka, Veseloye and Kamenka north of Avdeevka. The settlements are completely cleared of Ukrainian security forces.

Sappers of the Russian Armed Forces also secured large areas of territory and retrieved numerous mines.

Earlier, it became known that the Russian Armed Forces had liberated Stepovoye and cut the railroad track to Avdiivka. [link to voennoedelo.com (secure)]

Oleksiy Arestovich, a former freelance adviser to the Ukrainian presidential office, recorded a video in which he hinted at the imminent start of a large-scale offensive by the Ukrainian army. Troops will start to move into Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions. Kiev also plans to activate many kamikaze drones, which will have to strike the Russian military before the advance of the AFU ground troops.

Arestovich stressed that "everyone will like this offensive, we just have to wait a little bit.

It is reported that one of the largest oil storage facilities in the city of Novomoskovsk in Dnipropetrovsk Region was completely destroyed.

Earlier, this critical infrastructure facility had been hit (footage 18+) by kamikaze drones Geran-2. The Ukrainian air defense system was unable to shoot down the targets. The resulting fire was so large that it was extinguished for two days.

Experts believe that the loss of such an oil depot would seriously affect the combat effectiveness of some groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine located in Dnipropetrovsk Region. [link to voennoedelo.com (secure)]

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev advised judges of the International Criminal Court in The Hague to look to the sky more often in anticipation of the Russian Onyx hypersonic missile. He did not rule out the point-by-point use of such weapons on the ICC building.

"Alas, gentlemen, everyone walks under God and missiles. It is quite possible to imagine a spot use of hypersonic Onyx from the North Sea from a Russian ship on the Hague courthouse. It cannot be shot down, alas. And the court is just a miserable international organization, not the population of a NATO country."
said the deputy chairman.
Medvedev is sure that no one will feel pity for these judges. In his opinion, the ICC verdict against Russian President Vladimir Putin is simply unlawful. He noted that such verdicts are issued in two cases: the country has capitulated, the country has lost its sovereignty. [link to voennoedelo.com (secure)]

The Hague prosecutor Karim Khan provided details of the warrant issued for the arrest of Russian President Vladimir Putin. As it turned out, the warrant will be valid indefinitely, stressing that there are only two circumstances that allow it to be revoked - Vladimir Putin's finding of innocence, or vice versa - until he is found guilty.

"He will remain an alleged criminal until he is brought to trial or until he is brought to trial and acquitted. That seems highly unlikely, so he will remain an alleged criminal for the rest of his life," Karim Khan said.

Russia is not subject to the requirements of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, but each of the 123 countries in the court's jurisdiction is automatically subject to the warrant. Nevertheless, the circumstances of the charges against the Russian president are still unknown, since no facts of Vladimir Putin's possible guilt have been presented.

Given this warrant, relations between Russia and the West have been almost completely ruined.

Unknown persons blew up a gas pipeline in Simferopol.

A few hours ago, a group of unknown persons blew up a gas pipeline in Simferopol (Crimea). The incident took place in the evening, however, the saboteurs could not succeed - a 200 gram TNT bomb was not enough to disrupt the gas supply and cause a fire, but the incident requires a thorough investigation to identify the persons involved in the sabotage.

At this time it is known that casualties were avoided as a result of the explosion that occurred, as well as, equally, the destruction.

"The explosion occurred in the evening of March 19 at a section of a gas tap station near Balaklavskaya Street. According to preliminary calculations, an unknown person planted an explosive device with a capacity of 200 grams in TNT equivalent. However, this power was not enough to break the gas supply and cause a large fire - after the explosion one of the pipes was slightly bent, but the crane unit was intact, there was no through damage," say the journalists of "Base".

Re: World Really on Fire
The Ukrainian military reports that their positions are increasingly being attacked with Western weapons. Apparently, this refers to the use of Western weapons obtained by the Russian military and volunteers. Thus, in addition to the use of various kinds of small arms and grenade launchers, the Ukrainian military in Avdeevka, not far from their position, was hit by a Javelin. According to the reported data, the missile fired from the Javelin fell several meters from the Ukrainian military positions, but for unknown reasons, it never exploded. This simultaneously demonstrates that Western weapons are not always reliable, but also that the Ukrainian Armed Forces throw their weapons on the battlefield, not caring about their safety because of the rather large Western supplies.

In the picture you can see an unexploded Javelin missile. One of the reasons for this may be the failure of the explosive charge control system, but so far there are no expert conclusions on the matter.

The Taliban terrorists condemned the issuance of an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin.

Abdul-Gani Baradar Abdullah Azzam, deputy chief of staff for economic affairs of the Taliban terrorist movement (banned in Russia - ed.), condemned the ruling of the International Criminal Court in The Hague concerning the warrant for the arrest of Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to Abdullah Azzam, such a decision will not contribute to the settlement of relations between the West and Russia.

"The International Criminal Court has ordered the arrest of Russian President Vladimir Putin on charges of war crimes in Ukraine. There is hope that this window of American foreign affairs will continue to be open and they will order the arrest of those who have committed dozens of brutal war crimes in Afghanistan," Azzam said.

Re: World Really on Fire
Poland has notified Poland of its intentions to enter a war with Russia in case Kiev loses.

According to a Polish diplomat, Ukraine's defeat in the conflict with Russia is the key condition for Poland's entry into the conflict. In all likelihood, this is the reason why Poland is actively rearming its army and dragging various kinds of weapons to the Russian borders, allowing for long-range strikes.

"If Ukraine fails to defend its independence, we will have no choice but to enter the conflict," said Poland's ambassador to France.

Given that this information was officially voiced by a Polish diplomat in France, this could cause a very serious political conflict between Moscow and Warsaw. However, it is obvious that Warsaw will not comment on the statement of its ambassador, ignoring his position and maintaining conditional neutrality.

At the same time, the massive purchase of arms by Poland and the deployment of fortifications on the border with Russia and Belarus may indeed indicate the fact that Poland is preparing for a serious armed conflict.

If the decision on the extension of the grain deal is not made, Moscow will provide grain to African countries free of charge. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"If we still decide not to extend this deal in 60 days, we are ready to supply the entire volume that has been sent in the previous time to particularly needy countries in Africa from Russia to these countries for free," Putin said at the plenary session of the international parliamentary conference "Russia - Africa in a multipolar world". The president's speech is broadcast on the TV channel "Russia 24". The extension of the deal became known on March 18.

Russia and Ukraine, mediated by the UN, concluded a grain deal in the summer to remove grain from Ukrainian territory. The agreement is valid for 120 days and is then extended for the same period. Last week, Russia agreed to extend the deal for only 60 days because the other participants are not meeting some of the conditions. In the fall, Russia terminated its participation in the grain deal because most ships with grain were going to the EU rather than to the poorest countries, Dni.ru reported. ura*news
