Re: World Really on Fire
MOSCOW, 26 Sep - RIA Novosti. South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol called U.S. lawmakers "morons" after a conversation with his counterpart Joe Biden, MBC reports.
"It will be so humiliating for Biden if these morons don't take it to Congress," the South Korean leader tells his aides in footage published by the network.

As CNN suggested, the politician's remark refers to Joe Biden's pledge to contribute six billion dollars to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, which would require congressional approval.
South Korean Prime Minister Han Dok-Su said it was unclear exactly what the head of state was talking about. He said no one has heard the exact wording of Yoon's statement, and he cannot draw conclusions about the circumstances under which the president's words were spoken.
Kim Eun-hye, a spokesman for the South Korean leader, noted that the head of state's remarks were not referring to the United States. He said many people simply "misheard" Yoon's words, which were accidentally captured on TV.

Largest depots with Western missiles and rockets destroyed by drones in Odessa at night
Two Shahed-136 drone strikes were enough to destroy the largest warehouses with Western missiles and shells in Odessa.

The explosions were so powerful that a glow could be seen over the Odessa region for at least two more hours, literally lighting up the entire sky on the horizon. It is known that one of the depots contained several hundred missiles, while the second destroyed depot may have contained ammunition delivered by the U.S. from neighboring Romania.

Locals report that the initial explosion was so strong that it could be heard from several tens of kilometers away. Subsequently, the detonation of the ammunition in the depots could be heard and observed.

According to the Ukrainian military, a total of three kamikaze drones were involved in the attack, one of which was shot down on approach, while the other two successfully hit their targets. It is known that at one of the destroyed depots, the detonation of ammunition was so strong that residents of several settlements had to be evacuated.

At present the air defense means in service of Ukraine, including the recently arrived from the USA SAM system NASAMS, are extremely ineffective against inexpensive drones, that is why Ukrainian armed forces are simply unable to repel the attacks.

Re: World Really on Fire
Poland sent additional tanks to Ukraine.

A few hours ago, a massive column of tanks was spotted on the border between Poland and Ukraine. According to sources, they are T-72M1 and PT-91 Twardy tanks. Their exact number is not called, but judging by the photos, it may be at least 24 combat vehicles, designed for the needs of the AFU.

So far Warsaw has not announced any plans to transfer its additional tanks to Ukraine, but it is obvious that the deliveries are caused not only by the fact that the Ukrainian military is experiencing a very serious crisis with this type of arms, but also by the fact that Poland received additional combat vehicles from the United States, which made it possible to transfer a small batch of its own tanks to the Ukrainian armed forces.

It is noteworthy that the transfer of military equipment is carried out during daytime, although previously all Polish military equipment was sent to Ukraine at night, and most often by train.

At first it was presumed that this might be equipment repaired and serviced in Poland, but according to the coloring of the military vehicles, which was highlighted by experts, the tanks were until recently in service with the Polish army.

Ukraine attacks Kherson with missiles, some of which were intercepted.

The attacks by the Ukrainian military continued throughout the day. It is known that both AGM-88 HARM cruise missiles and M30\M31 missiles used by Himars MLRSs were launched.

At present, Avia.pro journalists have information that several strikes occurred in the area of Antonov bridge, both on the structure itself and on the Dnieper, through which the bridge passes. There is currently no information about damage, casualties, or casualties, but this is by no means the only facility in Kherson that has been attacked by the Ukrainian military.

It is not known how many rockets were intercepted by the Russian air defense forces, but the continuous attacks warn that the AFU may try to proceed to much more serious attacks since Kherson is within the impact zone of at least six multiple rocket launchers Himars stationed in the Mykolaiv region, which allows the AFU to launch up to 36 simultaneous strikes on the city and region.

This morning, as a result of the attack by the Ukrainian armed forces on Kherson, former Rada deputy Oleksiy Zhuravko was killed, and Russian journalists who were on the territory of the hotel at the time of the attack were wounded as well.

Re: World Really on Fire
Pakistani authorities decided to support Ukraine by sending 10 shipments of 75,000 rounds of ammunition. The shipment included 122 mm. ammunition and 155 mm. caliber ammunition, which provided Ukraine with very significant support. Such ammunition had previously appeared on video footage of the Ukrainian military and, remarkably, the latter had been specially produced for Ukraine in June and July of this year.

Because of the Pakistani military's reluctance to publicize the current situation, the Pakistani ammunition shipments took a complicated route - they were transported through a number of Middle Eastern and Arab countries. In particular, we are talking about Oman, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Romania. The final delivery of the ammunition was carried out by a British military plane, which, according to some reports, landed directly on Ukrainian territory.

Islamabad has not yet commented on the ammunition delivery to Ukraine, but such actions could seriously worsen relations between Russia and Pakistan.

It is not known whether the ammunition manufactured in Pakistan was delivered to Ukraine in September or not, but, taking into account the shells production in that country, there may be supplies of hundreds of thousands of shells, if need be.

Re: World Really on Fire
As a result of the strike on the headquarters of the Ukrainian operational command "South", 12 high-ranking officers were liquidated
The strike was carried out in the morning using Shahed-136 UAVs.

At least 8 ambulances arrived at the site immediately after the strike, but according to residents of Odessa, other vehicles subsequently arrived here to transport the wounded and dead.

At this point it is known that a group of at least 12 high-ranking Ukrainian officers have been eliminated as a result of the strike on the headquarters of the Southern Command. Information about the presence of foreign officers in the operational command headquarters has not yet been confirmed, but a few days ago three military helicopters of the US Army and one military transport aircraft of the US Air Force were seen flying in the direction of Odessa, which does not rule out the possibility that NATO officers were also present here.

Video footage available to journalists shows the aftermath of several Shahed-136 drones striking the operational command headquarters where the meeting was to take place. Attempts by the Ukrainian military to shoot down the drones were unsuccessful and the latter struck accurately.
Judging by the fact that this is a meeting of the operational command, we are talking about officers of the highest rank.

Re: World Really on Fire
Residents of Kharkiv are reporting about NASAMS systems spotted on the outskirts of the city.

Despite the fact that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the arrival of NASAMS systems in Ukraine, it became known that these weapons had been on Ukrainian territory for at least a week. It was learned that residents of Kharkiv and Mykolayiv noticed some launchers, which allegedly turned out to be NASAMS systems delivered from the United States - the latter have been in the area for about a week.

At the moment it is known that at least two launchers are deployed in the north and east of Kharkiv. It is noted that similar launchers are also deployed in the suburbs of Nikolaev, but so far it remains unknown exactly how many NASAMS launchers are in question.

According to Volodymyr Zelensky, the US-supplied weapons have already arrived in Ukraine.

"I want to thank President [Joe] Biden for the positive decision, which has already been made, and the US Congress, we received NASAMS," Vladimir Zelensky said.

In all likelihood, this is the same reason why it became known a few days ago that the Ukrainian military was deploying false targets to disguise the presence of real launchers.
At the moment there are no details about the deliveries of SAMs NASAMS to Ukraine, however, earlier it became known about the deliveries of several batteries of these weapons, which may indicate the transfer of two dozen launchers to the AFU. It is not known how effective such arms may be.

Re: World Really on Fire
Video footage of the elimination of the Ukrainian military who tried to force the Dnieper River has appeared on the Internet. The Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to gain access to the left bank of the Dnieper, but they were stopped by air assault strikes.

The footage showed numerous boats with Ukrainian paratroopers trying to cross towards Energodar.

The footage was taken from the left bank of the Dnieper River, writes Avia.pro.

Thanks to the work of combat helicopters, the boats were instantly destroyed - there are traces of explosions, the small vessels were sunk.

Most likely, the Ukrainian landing force is trying to land on the left bank in order to get to Energodar and take control of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.

At the same time, the Ukrainian side assures that there were no attempts to force the Dnieper.

The day before, the administration of Energodar reported four artillery strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces - the strikes targeted the city and the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.

Near the NPP, the village of Volna was also shelled, 10 shells were fired, but the fire was suppressed by a retaliatory strike.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that the radiation situation in the area of Zaporizhzhya NPP was normal.

As Topnews wrote earlier, authorities in Zaporizhzhya region said that Kiev was planning to force the Dnieper River, but these plans have already been called "murderous.

Reconnaissance helicopter shot down by MANPADS in Kharkiv region (VIDEO)

In the Kharkiv region, a strike and reconnaissance attack helicopter was hit by MANPADS while retreating.

According to Avia.pro, after the helicopter exhausted all of its ammunition and tried to retreat to its position, climbing to an altitude of several dozen meters, it became an ideal target for the MANPADS operator.

The situation was worsened by the fact that the crew had used up their heat traps by the time they withdrew, reducing the chances of surviving the MANPADS attack to virtually zero.

As a result of the attack, the helicopter crashed a few hundred meters from where the missile hit.

According to the newspaper, the crew did not survive the attack.

Apparently, the missile hit the engine of the helicopter, which resulted in the loss of power and subsequent rapid decline.

It is not possible to identify the type of helicopter from the video footage.

Fighting in Kharkiv region, the latest news on September 26: The Ukrainian armed forces are betting on a new offensive near Kharkiv

In an interview with Izvestia, military expert Dmitry Boltenkov described the situation in which the AFU found itself after the counteroffensive in the Kharkiv direction.

"The Kharkov region is now the only direction in which Ukrainian troops are still trying to conduct a serious offensive. Heavy fighting continues there from Kupyansk to Liman. The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are trying to expand the bridgehead beyond the Seversky Donets and attack the flank and rear of the line that runs along the Oskol River, as well as take Liman. And they dream of going even further - to Rubizhne and Lisichansk. But Kiev realizes that the window of opportunity is rapidly shrinking. When in a few months full-fledged Russian units deployed according to the General Staff's plan arrive at the line of contact, the possibility of an attack by the AFU will no longer be ruled out," the expert is quoted as saying.

According to Boltenkov, now the Ukrainian command is trying to minimize the use of available reserves, which were significantly reduced as a result of the counterattack. [link to www.topnews.ru (secure)]

Re: World Really on Fire
The statistics of losses of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation do not coincide in any way with those provided by the Russian Defense Ministry.
After Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in Russia, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu spoke about the order of mobilization and also announced for the first time since the spring of this year the losses of the Russian Armed Forces during the SAF.

According to the Minister they amount to almost 5937 people, while the AFU lost more than 100 thousand soldiers and mercenaries (60 thousand wounded, about 50 thousand killed), which is about half of the entire army of Ukraine.

In his turn, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky disagreed with Russia's statistics about losses in the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Within the framework of the program "Face a Zelensky" said that the daily losses of the Ukrainian army in the SSF are about 50 fighters.

But the Russian army, according to the Ukrainian leader, daily losses are five times more. However, Zelensky added that the figures voiced "are not accurate."

"Five times fewer Ukrainian soldiers have been killed than Russian soldiers," Zelensky claims.

Notably, Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar voiced the AFU's losses. According to her data, they amount to about 9,000 people.

This is not the only case of misrepresentation of the AFU losses by the Kiev regime.

In particular, some time ago, a document with the signature of the AFU Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhnyi appeared on the web, which indicated losses of the AFU as of July 1, 2022.

According to this report the losses of the Ukrainian army in six months are about 130 thousand people.

At the same time, this document was not officially commented by the leadership of Ukraine. [link to www.topnews.ru (secure)]

The IAEA mission was convinced that the ZNPP was shelled by Ukrainian troops, but avoided this fact, including due to pressure from the United States. Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, said this.

The IAEA knows that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are shelling the nuclear power plant, but they keep quiet about this fact.

According to Ulyanov, Ukraine has already regretted its agreement on the IAEA's permanent presence at the Zaporizhzhya NPP. [link to news-front.info (secure)]

Re: World Really on Fire
All parties to the conflict in Ukraine can discuss options for a solution at three summits to be held in Southeast Asia in November. This is the idea proposed by Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Don Pramatvinay.

"A possible solution can be found during the month of November, when there will be a great opportunity for all interested parties in the Ukrainian crisis to gather at three venues in Southeast Asia," he said.

The minister suggested that the leaders of the conflict countries discuss the situation at the ASEAN summit in Phnom Penh, the G20 meeting in Bali and APEC in Bangkok. "These could individually or in a series serve as the most appropriate venue for negotiations to provide a possible way out of this acute global crisis in Ukraine," Pramatvinay opined.

He added that the UN would certainly join the process if the heads of state did not miss the opportunity.

The G20 summit will be held in Bali on November 15-16. Indonesia sent an invitation to the G20 leaders in April. The Russian side confirmed the participation of President Vladimir Putin. However, the Kremlin has clarified that the decision on the format of participation in the summit (in person or via video link) will be based on all factors, including the security factor.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky received an invitation to the summit, although his country is not a member of the G20. Bloomberg wrote that this proposal was made by some member states, including the United States, after Putin was invited to the meeting. The U.S. National Security Council urged Zelensky to come to the summit if Putin would attend in person.

The Russian hacker group RaHDIt, known as "Evil Russian Hackers," has made public the data of 1,500 employees of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).

The information was published on the Nemesis website, RIA Novosti reported. The agency's source in the law enforcement agencies confirmed its relevance.

The database contains information about intelligence representatives working under cover of embassies in more than 20 countries. The list contains information on both states that actively support Ukraine (the US and the EU) and countries with a more neutral stance, including Azerbaijan, Argentina, Hungary, Greece, Iraq, South Africa and others.

The network also has data on Ukrainian intelligence officers working in the UN, EU and NATO missions, and more than 40 locations of Ukrainian SVR units.

The hackers managed to obtain this information by accessing the databases of Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and SVR officials. Then experts compared the information and found matches.

White House spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre said at a regular briefing on Friday, September 23, that U.S. authorities urge Americans not to travel to Ukraine to participate in hostilities, according to media reports.

During the briefing, the White House spokeswoman said: "The U.S. welcomes the prisoner exchange agreement between Russia and Ukraine, which included the return of two U.S. citizens taken prisoner in Ukraine. The U.S. commends Ukraine for including all POWs, regardless of their nationality, in its negotiations, and we look forward to reuniting these American citizens with their families. We also reiterate that the U.S. Department of State recommends that American citizens not travel to Ukraine. Those involved in the fighting there are at serious risk. The U.S. cannot guarantee their safety."
