WASHINGTON, September 25 - RIA Novosti. The United States has privately warned the Russian leadership of the catastrophic consequences of using nuclear weapons in the conflict in Ukraine, American presidential national security adviser Jake Sullivan said in an interview with NBC television.
"We have directly privately conveyed to the Russians at a very high level that the consequences would be catastrophic if they used nuclear weapons in Ukraine. It’s my opinion that Russia has economic reasons to NOT use nuclear weapons. This reason is that Ukraine is an agricultural breadbasket. Nuclear fallout could render the agricultural areas toxic and not safe to farm. This would prevent Russia from producing food in their new territories and inhibit the potential financial/economic benefits. Just my opinion, I could be wrong but I hope not.

My thought as an AC who followed the WOF thread since the beginning of the SMO is if it does get pinned you’ll need to be vigilant to prevent the trolls from derailing this thread.
