Quoting: cosmicgypsy All of the sudden it's outside of you, and your all grossed out?....but it was JUST INSIDE OF YOU! Now, it is NOT that I'm a shit lover. No, I'm not....but I don't think youse guyses are thinking about this clearly, eh? Such sensitive sensibilities....and I laugh, because it's too funny, given the two posts I've dropped down on this thread. There's really no need to be so freaked out about it. Just clean yourself properly, so you don't stink, with whatever it is that you have available, and go on about your day. Simple. Is that you Obama?! Don't even with me..... You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete. -Buckminster Fuller ...I adapt to the unknown, under wandering stars I've grown, by myself, but not alone... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83963564 I live near a town sewer system. Sometimes at night I have to close all of my windows because of the smell that emits from the place. The gas smell is bad and can make you feel sick. Lol u live in shit hahaha |

Quoting: Doctor Congo [link to www.mirror.co.uk (secure)] Controversial reusable toilet roll is dividing opinion on Twitter as some call the product an unhygienic "health risk" while others argue it slashes costs and is eco-friendly. The sustainable company Net Zero Co is selling a cloth toilet roll that can be washed and reused repeatedly. Their product is on the market for £21.50 and comes in a pack of 24 with designs on each sheet. “This alternative fits on any standard toilet paper roll and easily re-rolls to hold its shape. After use, collect pieces in a hamper until laundry day, recommended twice a week. Machine wash with hot water. Tumble dry low or air dry. You may choose to pre-soak with vinegar or cleaning solution. Once dry, re-roll one at a time.” People-why not just get a bidet? Saves 75% on TP costs. Yep, I agree. I've got a bidet toilet attachment on my toilet. Works great, very little TP except to dry off maybe, and my only complaint is it can be a little cold on the corn hole during the winter. Hell I found it here on GLP and bought one. Mine has a hot water connection lol |

Before toilet paper came into fashion by the companies starting wanting to create a market for their product, people used wash cloths for centuries. People are so brain washed into how to think and what they "should" do. |

I remember those, they were blue cloth rolls but I don't think they were reused at the end of the roll. When the roll was used up, a new roll was put in and the janatorial service collected the used rolls and washed them. If you wanted to clean peanut butter out of a shag carpet with flimsy tissue paper, you'd just wind up making a bigger mess--it's almost barbaric to not clean with water. Getting all up in there with a nice stream of clean, refreshing agua is the way to go. Once you get used to it, it becomes hard to go without. I get a lot of comments from guests, over the fact that we use that method. Some seem almost disgusted over it. "Ewww GROSS!! You use water to clean your ass after punching a grumpy?" I think I had the same reaction when I encountered one for the first time, but once you use a bidet, you'll never want to wipe any other way. Do you use filtered water in your bidet? with all the toxins in Municipale water, it might be wise. |
