True. "Older and wiser" is often true.

Seems like yesterday I was 21. Age comes at you fast.

People don't seem to Fraps that nobody is immune to it.

My one wish about getting older is that having fun is still OK.

People seem to think that old people just give up.

They shouldn't. They should have makeup parties and adventures.

Plus, they have the most incredible stories to tell.

not enough day anymore that's for sure..by the time i'm doing what i want, it's time for bed (early work)

the positives are that i know how to handle most issues that come up in day to day life nowdays.. from car repairs to tax stuff..everything in between..

i remember being young and some crazy problem arises out of the blue and not knowing what the fuck to do..

now it's just mundane, but i've gained the confidence to get whatever needs to be done arranged and not worry about it anymore.

Amen to that! I’ll be 54 and I can’t remember 1 old person when I was young complains about, OMG, Where did the years go? It all went by too fast. Yet I remember at 27 back when I was single I thought life was going by so slow. Fast forward another 27 years and I’ve been married for the last 18 years, I have a 15yeqr old child who will be an adult soon and the last have seems to have all went by in the blink of an eye. I’ve been with the same large corporation for the last 35yrs and I’m realizing I didn’t plan well enough financially for Retirement. The Smartest thing I’ve done in my whole life is to keep me, my wife and my child from taking any of the Bioweapon shots! I lost my Brother and his Wife, along with a Cousin and his Mom. Not to mention 3 good Friends.

I’m SO glad I got to grow up in the 80’s before Home Computers & Cell Phones we’re something as common as they are today.

I know exactly why I can be critical of technology!

I saw a lot of this coming like 50 years ago.

Especially over-hyping the abilities of technology vs REAL behavior.



By 1976, and pondering the Bicentennial, I was shocked at how little "time" 200 years really is.

It's no faster or slower than ever in my experience.

Experience is the best advantage, if you can remember your past.

I taught my children at a young age that learning how to remember is very important.
