Coconut oil, etc. Gums heal naturally in time. There are now toothpastes that will perform small repairs on teeth, which to me, means, they know exactly what is needed, but refuse to bring it to market so dentists stay in business. Quoting: jlee2027 Do you know any brands of toothpaste that repair teeth? Mentos whitener makes teeth whiter with sunshine or blue white neonlight as combination. |

Asked dentist what it was and he paused before saying it is just something that happens as we age. He filled them and I thought nothing of it. A year passess and I get another. By sheer coincidence I had also changed the brand of toothpaste I used around the time I noticed it. About 3 weeks later the pit was completely gone and filled in with no dental visit required! At my last cleaning they asked me if I had changed anything in my routine because my teeth appeared a lot stronger and cleaner. I said yes - I stopped using flouride mouthwash and toothpaste. They scoffed at that of course but that is literally the only thing I have done. The toothpaste I have used formthe last couple of years is called Apagard Premio. It is from Japan and is known restore the minerals in your teeth. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. |

I hope that is with immediate denture, foloow ups for realigns, and permanent denture 6 months later. That being said. You will be ok. Take ibuprofen before. Get a relaxer just for the procedure to keep calm. Bring headphones and music. Shouldn’t take long. Nothing major believe it or not. Follow the instructions. Don’t rinse or use straws. The. Lots are important for healing. Warm water and salt is the best for healing, they may prescribe you a rinse. As for pain meds, if you have a high tolerance Tylenol and ibuprofen will do. Each day gets better. First few days a little tough but not bad. Eat scrambled eggs, instant potatoes . Anything soft with protein. That will help you stay healthy and strong. Use gauze to apply pressure to stop bleeding. Believe it or not your mouth and gums heal very quickly, rest rest rest. Get an immediate denture if possible. Acts like a bandaid and tricks your brain and mouth to still feel like there are teeth there. Lots of videos on you tube that have some very kind and helpful people. God bless |

Do not be put to sleep in case you choke on all the blood and get nauseous. Ask for oxygen if this happens pronto! Pain pills and bandages will be a must for a few days. A guy I know wears dentures he paid over $5,000.00 for years ago. They looked real. |

Call your oral surgeon and demand an emergency appointment. |

Ask about it and ask for it, they put it on at the time they pull the tooth if you have had a problem in the past. Dry socket is worse than you can imagine. |

I've never regretted the decision. You will be surprised how quickly you will bounce back. You will feel better physically as well as you heal. I didn't even need pain pills after my surgery but I do have a high pain threshold. Best wishes and I hope you have as good an experience as I had |

User ID: 76760293 Sweden 08/16/2022 05:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why have them pulled tho? Why not fix what can be fixed? I had a very bad decay situation, deep infections everywhere, with lots of jaw bone eaten away. My dentist pulled all four of the molars furthest back. The ones next to them were saved by sawing off one of three roots because the back roots had rotted away from the bone altogether, so they now only stand on the two front roots. Only the tips are anchored in what's left of the bone, but they're actually quite stable. Then he operated on all four quadrants, cutting open the gums so he could do a deep clean down to the bone on every tooth, then stitching it all back together. He also added some special protein they have invented that makes some of the lost bone grow back. Finally a different specialist did a bunch of root canals on some infected roots. Afterwards I am rinsing with chlorine dioxide daily, and my dental health is flawless! It has been several years, I still have my natural teeth, and dental problems is a thing of the past for me. When I go to the dentist for "scraping" he is baffled because he can't find any dental plaque whatsoever. The chlorine dioxide removes biofilm and keeps my teeth squeaky clean, so bacteria can't grow there. My procedures took a couple of months of dentist visits, and cost me $4k in total. The government paid perhaps twice that (Sweden has free dental insurance, but it doesn't pay the entire cost). Anyway, an American should be able to get the same quality of care for a reasonable price in Mexico. Last Edited by Lazy Monk on 08/16/2022 05:05 PM Lazy Monk |
