The blast itself will tend to knock out any secondary combustion, as long as no flammables were present. Sure looks like the result of natgas or propane to me. The sad thing is, there are gas leakage alarms available, and they could easily be tied into a solenoid that would be triggered to shut off the main supply if gas above a certain ppm in the air was detected. |
