America actually began in 1215 when the Lords of England sent a letter to their King. (The Magna Carta) The letter said, you may rule by virtue of God making you royal, but you do not rule absolutely...The Lives of Lords Matter (#LLM), we do not recognize your ability to govern as absolute.

That planted a seed of thought in the Western World, which was expanded during the Enlightenment. In a European World of Serfs and masters, philosophers Hobbs and Locke began to argue that in a moral world, men are free and independent and have a natural right to follow their own self-interest and pursue their own goals.

This was the basic thinking that gave rise to the brilliant book, Common Sense by Thomas Paine, which was the most widely read book (besides the Bible) in the American Colonies at the time of the American revolution. Paine argued that Society (men joining together to help each other by building institutions) has nothing to do with Government (which is required because of corruption). And he reasoned, people should free independent beings, joining into social groups to help them meet their goals, and that Government should be men joining together to implement rules that protect the rights of others. In other words, White Male Lives Matter. (#WMLVM)

So a country was established that has at the core of its culture...a free market economic system which caused the single greatest period of wealth creation and stunning transformation of the world in human history, and a goal of expanding the idea of human freedom from White Males to All People.

America is the only country with a Bill of Rights listing inalienable rights that belong to individual people. America is the light in the harbor that has beckoned to the world...come here to pursue your happiness.

Stuff it, Froggie.

Americans basically share the European history?
as for the land it probably has some Inca and Maya type history
 Quoting: T-Man

Inca & Mayan were very South American tribes ,It was what we now know as Native Americans / First Nations people that dominated what is now USA.

During the 1500s is when Spain, British & French first arrived. to the "NEW WORLD" and started slaughtering Natives who opposed there theft of there land.

Re: Many countries have a history and a culture
I have enjoyed experiencing NM culture of indigenous peoples ceremonial methods of connection with their understanding of the Creator. Sitting in a Tipi all night praying with a cactus that has been consumed by people for 1000s of years. That's cool. I'm glad they haven't lost it even though they've lost just about everything else. Not my culture but indeed a part of the culture of this country.

Re: Many countries have a history and a culture
This is retarded nonsense from someone who doesn't understand what culture means.

You can argue American culture isn't particularly "cerebral" if you want, but you can't say it has none.

It has a rich history in movie making, television, music, it's own sports (or versions of originally British sports), fashion, urban and street culture (graffiti, break dancing, skateboarding), dance, slang, Wild West mythology, skyscraper engineering, space programmes...I can go on all day.

All of these are expressions of culture.

As i said, some are trivial and low brow, others are not.

What is the history of France? Cowardice?

What is the culture of France? Baguettes?

If you can define those things for any country, you can for all of them.

Cheeky slamming of France aside, ALL countries have both of those things.

America's history is that of the pilgrims, the Revolutionary war, freedom and the constitution, slavery and breaking away from slavery, the Civil war, growth and expansion.

Yes, pioneers, cowboys, pony express, railroads and more.

The culture of America is individualism, fighting spirit, Hollywood, cars and roads, acceptance of other cultures at a level that no other country has ever managed. (which is why you are confused, because we incorporate other cultures as well as having a unique one as well).

America is no more lacking in culture than France, Spain, or Japan. If anything, it has more.

What you are getting hung up by is tradition, not culture.

We have tradition as well, but it doesn't go back two thousand years. It can't.

America is only about two-hundred and fifty years old, after all. (In four years, it will be that.) Even then, we have Thanksgiving and The Fourth of July. Newer traditions, but that's how such things start.

They carved out a successful farming culture from the howling wilderness.

Is that enough history for you?

They were south of the border of what is now the US. The Native tribes here were different from them and different from each other. They had their own tribes, their own territories, their own friends and enemies amongst each other. We don't have the pyramid like structures and all those things in the US but they do south of the border- especially near Guatemala and further south.

Same as most every other tribe that has ever come to power over a region.

I would be shocked to find out more than 10 percent of them are legit and don't deserve to be damned.

But the sins of fathers don't pass on to the children and grandchildren just like that.

It's a little more complex...

So they kind of wiped it out first.

Coast to coast was a pinnacle.

Mountains in the middle, for plenty of water.

First black immigration, then European, then Asian and Latino. These 3 waves set to dismantle any fingerpointing of blame about genocide.

Add in factory industrial revolution that feeds the fire of the military industrial complex.

Looks like some cowboys had a plan...

But now some madonnas are trying to break it down...

Most of my ancestors came here because Europe sucked. Too much poverty, too much class oppression, too little opportunity.

The founders all owned slaves and promoted slavery as Masons.
The Bill Of Rights only works if your in their club, as we see so succinctly today.
The period of the Enlightenment was promoted by Francis Bacon a NWO mason stooge who pushed most of the idiotic, hairbrained crap from this period culminating in the French Revolution which was another }£VV led attempt at Commun!$m.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45523308

-Slavery was an African institution imported to New World by Portuguese, Spanish and Dutch Jell-O.
-Slavery did not build America, the Free North was overwhelmingly more powerful than the Agricultural South, because of Manufacturing..no slaves there.
-The Point of this entire post, you simpleton shill, is that From the time of the Magna Carta...there has been an evolution from Nobleman have rights, to Property owners have rights, toward all people have rights. you dumbfuk.
-by the end your own babbling exposed you as a 'tard.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82520096

Slavery was an AMERICAN institution and your tard denial only further makes the result of your butthurt post even more laughable.
Your the moron who says Whites didn’t exterminate the natives too.
You don’t have a point to your post as Paine was nothing more than an idiot Commun!$t and the evolution of supposedly “free men” has only ever resulted in those “free men”, robbing, stealing and murdering for their own enrichment. Which is the history of the United States.
Run back to Fox News and get some more idiotic bullet points, tard.

repost for 2008...

When I looked into my crystal ball what do you suppose I saw?

I saw the election held Tuesday, November 4, 2008, where Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. who was NOT born in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 4, 1961, wins the presidency.

Within months(2016 and ongoing) the race riots begin as he clenches his fist on the working class and especially the white race. A civil war will rage and ravage our once great nation, our melting pot will melt leaving only the charred remains of a broken people.

He will by executive order declare Martial Law, and the killing fields will begin in earnest. The cleansing of the blight of the nagging white man, the men of laws and rules will be no more.

We will become a Marxist country ruled by a Dictator named Barak Hussan Obama . He will be our Master and we his slaves.

If you have doubts just read the excerpt below.

The life expectancy of a democracy.
By: Alexander Tyler a professor of history at the University of Edinburgh, in Scotland,

The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:
In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh ,

had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior:

“A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent

form of government.

A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.

From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the

most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship.”

“The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years.

During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

1. From bondage to spiritual faith;
2. From spiritual faith to courage;
3. From courage to liberty;
4. From liberty to abundance;
5. From abundance to complacency;
6. From complacency to apathy;
7. From apathy to dependence;
8. From dependence back to bondage.”

My family has been in America nearly 400 years. They were farmers who tilled the soil, ranchers that tamed wild horses, raised chickens and cattle.

The history of the modern US is- building up from total scratch, farming, creativity, innovation. The main language for communication turned out to be English. The culture is mainly European cultures combined. They mainly had the same cultures/beliefs with nuances.

Errr...you put "black immigration" then "European"?

Do you not see anything odd about that?

I'll leave you to work it out for yourself.
