Ours was a 1/3rd higher. Dunno how much was the extra heat and how much was the rise in cost.

My electric charge per kwh is UP 20+% year over year, and with natural gas prices now MUCH higher than a year ago and most of the coal generating plants now shut down by my utility I expect it to climb ANOTHER 20%+ by mid winter

That climb would take my year over year electric charges up 40% on a per kwh basis.

The Federal Reserve Board was lecturing us just 6 months ago that inflation was only "Transitory" ... which was such a Crock of Shit even back then that you had to wonder if anybody on the Board had ANY BRAINS at all?

Nothing has value without energy. Money is essentially a vessel through which our monetary energy is stored. If they can inflate the money supply, and debase it's value, you can't store your monetary value there. Also, the price of all essentials will go up, because essentials take energy to produce, and your worthless fiat crap is devoid of energy. Useless green tickets.

But then they add:
Pass-Through TDU Distribution Charge: 3.9416¢/kWh Pass-Through TDU Customer and Meter Charge: $4.39 per month
Securitization Default Charges: 0.00662 ¢/kWh
Securitization Uplift Charges: 0 ¢/kWh

We had a base charge of around $330 just for the electricity. But when you add the other fees it went to $470.

By far the biggest bill…. Freaking hot and too many family members staying here.
