These stupid fucks have been saying BTC WILL HIT $250K (last year) and will be at a million shortly thereafter.

Their GOD is Michael Saylor and Max Keiser. Sailor bought billions worth when the price was up near $40K (it’s under $19K now).

Being wrong doesn’t bother these fools at all.

Their diamond hands are actually turning into rotting cabbage and yet they continue to rant - NEW ATHs THIS YEAR!!!

They’re goddamn idiots.

There will be a healthy retrace up this year that ends around election time. Democrats want to be reelected and will pump financial markets accordingly

I believe the next true bull run will go to 100k plus but it might be 2 to 4 years before that happens, but it will happen.

I don't follow the interest rate stuff. All I can say is crypto is poised for a 6 month bullish pump before crashing again around new years.

Naw not this year but it will probably slowly increase to around 25k by Jan 1 next year. Still has to drop to around 14 and average there for a while before heavily dipping near 10K in rapid drop and increase back. That's what the new cycle will look like

They are, but it’s worse than that...

Crypto has become a religion - meaning, people are ALL IN mentally when there is a shit ton of empirical evidence to the contrary.

They ignore anything and everything that goes against their preprogrammed biases.

The more crypto plunges the more they rant that it’s actually setting new ATHs.

The US ponzi dollar fetish on GLP is at an all time high.

Well, the economy does follow the interest rate stuff.

The higher interest rates go the more expensive (and thus valuable) the dollar gets.
The more valuable the dollar, the fewer dollars it takes to buy shit - that’s part of the reason raising interest rates counters inflation.

The more valuable the dollar, the fewer dollars it takes to buy gold, commodities and crypto. Interest rates go UP, prices come down.

But there’s more to it than that. Interest rates going up makes it harder for businesses and the economy goes into recession as well.

TPTB are taking money OUT of the economy. $2 trillion won’t be flowing into crypto anytime soon - certainly not this year, and being a moonboi won’t change that.

okay so lets just assume everything you said is correct.
it sounds super logical to me anyway..

there are 16000 shit coins. unregulated.
market cap went from 3trillion to less than 1 (lets keep it simple)

when/if regulation hits 99% of these shit coins might become worthless or illegal or whatever.
that alone could inflate the price of certain cryptos way past the moon.

also that 2 trillion you are talking about was never 'in' crypto anyway. most of it was leverage aka non existing money.
same as how theres only 1 real $ for every 10$ the bank claims to have.

so imo youre probably 100% correct. but that doesnt mean 1-1 that crypto cant go up.
and all of this literally ignores the 4 year cycles and how 4 years ago Crypto dropped more than this time, without wars, pandemics and inflation.

one could say things are looking way better for crypto compared to 4 years ago. and this is literally the anticipated bear market. which is documented all over the internet. and has been for years.
heck there are posts on GLP from last year that told people "wait till summer 2022 to load up" and guess what? they were 100% correct. because this isnt a surprise whatsoever

Wait till your financial sector starts to crack….you think 2008 fixed things? They just covered it up with TARP….

Transfer of value to safe harbours anywhere in the world….that’s what BTC is can settle anywhere….in any currency or form you choose….

When bank runs happen, withdrawal limits are placed, bank websites go “down” for maintenance

When they have 3 day banking days to limit the bank run….how you gonna move your wealth around?

A swift wire transfer?

GTFO!

Right now the sellers are in charge. I’ll start to DCA (slowly) when BTC gets below $15K. We’ll have a couple of years to accumulate. Putting any money in that you might need in the next five years or so is a nearly guaranteed loser.

Peer to peer transfer of money is a valuable thing.

Bad-Actor countries that want to evade US sanctions use BTC.

I tried to buy some ivermectin from a company in India and the bank stopped it as FRAUD. It wasn’t fraud at all, but you’re right in that when your wealth is in a bank they control what you can and cannot do with it.

They can’t stop you from transferring crypto. All you need is a buyer and seller willing to use crypto, but that isn’t happening on every street corner yet.
