Not really. It's decentralized meaning that if even one node in the network is still working, the ledger should be perfectly maintained.

The bigger question is whether digital currency would have any kind of value in a post-apocalyptic, post-EMP detonation hellscape. To be sure, it's not clear fiat or precious metals would have much value either.

Food, water, guns and ammo would probably be the most valuable.

I have long had a role with ITC on the new currency systems whcih are starting to come in as I speak.. Ok. Russia.. China..and other Bric nations are on gold. we are not going on make believe digital. Dollar is leaving as world reserve currency too
