amazing question does the past stay at a spot once its occurred or does it continue to move with momentum
if it has momentum the past is surely right next to us

we are probably slowly 'evaporating' somehow and somehow slightly shrinking as we travel into the future

so if past has momentum it means past is like numerous thin shells around us and probably easy to access

Re: amazing question does the past stay at a spot once its occurred or does it continue to move with momentum
at least it would if one travelled continuously in a straight line

then we need to think does gravity affect the past assuming there is even a flow of time

so gravity was in the past along with it so orbital gravity would occur so its likely big orbiting planet has its past 'shells' travelling along with it

but it all hinges on whether the past has momentum

and it surely does

which means its almost right next to us !!

all we need to do is jump 'shells' to past or the future

If you go light speed time will not effect you but you will continue to move you should be able to extrapolate from there.

its like dead skin

but the dead skin becomes invisible and travels with us in multiple shells probably forever

its probably ridiculously easy to jump 'shells' to the past or future and back

The past does not get "left behind". It needs no shell. Wake up.

time is probably slow evaporating of matter so to speak

but not classic evaporation

so if you reinstate what evaporated you d be in the past

if you sped up the evaporation you d rush into the future

I know the simple answer to your question but can not answer as it would not be fair to all the good people that have spent so much time and money obtaining the degrees and research funding .

Eventually they will nail it down for you .

Your approach is like the way sand moves. Like we are silicate beings even though we’re carbon based. What is even that? We are based! We are magnetic, hold memory and operate in our sleep. We must be AI

Re: amazing question does the past stay at a spot once its occurred or does it continue to move with momentum
There are near death experiences where people have seen things that can’t be explained, like the story of the red shoe. A patient died but he remembers floating above the hospital where he saw a red shoe on the roof. It was later recovered by the hospital staff exactly how he described. Even stranger than that, an old man in a nursing home had his regular nurse leave for the weekend. She wrecked her car on the way to visit her parents and died in the crash while back at the nursing home he had a heart attack and died on the table but was revived. When he came too, they asked home what he saw. He said he saw his nurse there, and she told him to tell her parents she was sorry about the car but she was ok. This transcended space because they were not even in the same town when they both died, however you could argue they moved forward in time together.

Re: amazing question does the past stay at a spot once its occurred or does it continue to move with momentum
Yes, the past does move with momentum and travels with relative speed with the present. The problem occurs with a Parallax that makes the Mandela Effect and thereby changes or destroys the past. Then you also have the bleeding through of Parallel Universes. This could also change the past...

If the past doesn't exist, then when you leave your home to go to work; your house would vanish. Yet you can call your home phone and speak to someone or leave a message on the answering machine. Same is true when leaving your vehicle. If everything was here and now, then your vehicle would disappear when you leave it and then reappear when you view it...

Re: amazing question does the past stay at a spot once its occurred or does it continue to move with momentum
Time is just the result of movement through space at a certain velocity.

It's basic physics and relativity.

Consider the basic formula for velocity.

velocity = distance / time

example: you are driving at 60 miles per hour.

rearrange the formula to favor time...

time = distance / velocity

the slower you move, the faster you experience time.
the faster you move, the slower you experience time.

its called relativity because everything moves at a different velocity and therefore experiences a different rate of time.

So to answer your question 'does the past stat at a spot', I would say yes. There is no momentum to time' since time is not a thing.

Since the earth is traveling through soace at a very high rate of speed, it is practically impossible for us to go back to a certain spot in space.

Thecreal question should be, if you can go back to a certain spacial coordinate, would you go back to that event in time?

Re: amazing question does the past stay at a spot once its occurred or does it continue to move with momentum
there were many "past"
we discovered some of them, it is not needed to know all of them, for we do our part in it, have a place in it, according to places and senses, where we engage our influence with a choice
this is not only some observer thing without a reason
moral reasoning takes about 250 miliseconds
we make errors in between
perception->relation->behaviour
