It is just an excuse. I will not believe there is a shortage and possible food insecurity in America Until I see famine at unprecedented levels in third world nations. Until then it is just an excuse to charge Americans more. We typically produce more wheat than we consume. So even a low yield would not equate to severe shortages. If we are still sending our food to other nations for free when we have a problem here, then it is all a set up.

During the Irish famine, food was being exported from Ireland overseas.

Most famines are in fact government policy, not a lack of food.

It was either Cheney or Rumsfeld that said we would sell Iraq oil to pay for the Iraq Invasion.

Notice how the satellite photo of it sat in the grain port of Iskenderun is so grainy (less quality than the previous photo of it sat in Sevastopol. Why not provide a photo of it in a Russian port full of grain? That would have been awesome proof, wouldn't it? Oh, wait... Sevastopol has been annexed for 7 years... so in fact, both ports are in Russian territory...

If your troops take territory, that territory is now yours. You didn't steal it, and you certainly didn't steal any wheat that grows on it, or oil the spurts out of the ground on it.

It's yours, you took it by force, and THAT IS WHAT YOU WERE FIGHTING OVER, duh. If Ukraine wants the wheat, they have to DEFEND THE LAND.

Its really not that complicated. Now, mind you, if Russia wants the farmers to grow wheat again next year, they will have to PAY for the wheat. That is how the world works.
