What are your favorite "car guy" movies?
I came across a few oldies that are my favs. One of them, Highwaymen was filmed in 2004, which surprised me because the film feels like a 70's era flick.

So here's the short list.

Highwaymen [link to www.imdb.com (secure)]

Two Lane Blacktop [link to www.imdb.com (secure)]

Hollywood Knights [link to www.imdb.com (secure)]

And of course, Vanishing Point. [link to www.imdb.com (secure)]

Mad Max
1. “You can’t fire a cannon, from a canoe!”
2. “Strength is gained in the range it is trained.”
3. “If it doesn’t swim, run, or fly, or isn’t green and grow in the ground, don’t eat it.”
4. “Know that you have complete control over what you put in your mouth. No one ever ate anything by accident.”

No data.. Just a hankering to see some burning rubber with a loose plot written around it I might not have seen before.

Blue's Brother's 2000 had one of the longest car chase scenes in movie history. That was an OK car-guy flick.

Worth watching, good music, bad acting, zero plot, cool cars.

Makes a great background movie while doing something else.
