I want to get my lady a pistol. She’s small. 5’4”. What’s a good pistol for self defense, from a lady’s perspective?

Also, do you know of any good accessories for a lady to carry while jogging.

This lady is active. S&W easy 9 and get her training! Also a belt rig.

Thank you

This is THE dumbest way to pick a pistol. Most ranges rent them. Take her to a range and let her shoot a bunch til she finds one that works for her.

You pick a violin bow by going to a well-stocked music store and trying out a whole bunch of them to see which feels right in your hand.

I imagine guns are no different.

Take her to a gun shop. Let her put her hands on them. Shoot them. Don't rule out revolvers for a novice shooter.

So true...and strange how some
gunshops will for some reason try and turn a lady off from a revolver. I do not get that. Personally I'd rather have a revolver betrothed to my rutger... but I lost all my weapons in a tragic accident and don't have any so .....

Re: Any ladies here carry? Need advice..
Many years ago I was going through a stalking thing and my ex, a gun enthusiast, talked me into buying a gun to carry.

It was marketed as a "ladies" revolver because the hammer was basically flush with the gun and so it was supposed to be less likely to get snagged on something in a purse or bag...

I think it was a 357 mag(it was the one that could be used with mag bullets OR regular, which is cool too). The shooting range had a sign, "no mag bullets" and ONE time, we(more him than me!) decided to shoot a mag bullet anyway...and the shot ricocheted, made a few dings around the range including blowing the overhead light out before it stopped!

hiding

We were the only 2 using the range and no one hurt
or caught, lol. :o

Hope that helps, and you can figure out the model with that story/description. Just read on google a 357 out performs a 9mm, so there's that too.. ;), :p

Sig P365, but good luck finding one for sale.

Comforttac belly band holster, you forget you're wearing it. Not even expensive.

This is exactly what I was going to recommend.

Sig 365 and comforttac holster.

My daily running/everything combo.
When the student is ready, the teacher appears.
