What is They planning on doing with the prisoners when they can’t afford to feed them?

Every other covid emergency benefit ended LONG, LONG ago. This benefit is still in effect? Jesus Christ!!!

Received the email a few hours ago -no advance notice! There are millions of families receiving the SNAP Food Benefits. This will not be good considering the food shortages and high food costs rising higher every week.

Foodatamps will continue just not as much as it was.

Good, if they are able to work, they need to get a job. So sick of the freeloader welfare recipients that are well and able enough to work like the rest of us whom do WORK.

This was the extra benefit they gave people. Which helped out no doubt. I think it was $95.00.

Dude...what is your issue? I included the contents of the email in my 1st post. And I stated that the email came in about 2 hours ago therefore this is an original leading thread.

Maybe there will be some food left over for the working class. The mass majority of the free food army goes to the grocery store and buy up all the decent food and sale items before the workers get off work. I can't understand how a country puts the non-workers in front of the people who actually produce.

Snap will still be available just not the extra amount for the pandemic called PSNAP.

it's a state by state thing. sounds like your state is done

You should know that the state funded program is seeded by the Fed which allocates the funding to all states. If GA is on the list believe me all states will end the program as well.

And...again, millions of people probably haven't checked their benefits account portal yet and have no ide of the sudden, unexpected end of the PSNAP food program.

The last poster was stating what the additional amount was, so what are you stating then? Is there an additional $250 on top of what you already get? What is base and what is additional amount for single person per month?

unexpected? i've been expecting it for a year, surprised it has lasted this long. no worries here, been stocking up like mad

everyone got the max. buddy (disabled navy vet) got $16/mo but been getting $250 (max) for quite a while now

Well it’s somewhat state controlled but it’s dependent on the pandemic emergency declared by HHS and that is ending so the emergency benefits are also.
