Toledo is my birthplace. I still have family there. My uncle lives in maumee and he tells me how bad its gotten. I'm now in the south but just dealt w this bullshit street violence last week at my sons tball game. Had to cover him and other children while ppl drove by shooting up a car. It was absolutely horrifying. Yes, these people were black. No regard for these babies lives anymore. It's now everywhere. Stay safe OP.

I used to live in old towne on ilsington.
I’m just a traveler and that was like 5 years ago, but I was amazed by that neighborhood and the epic annual block party- and then it’s super ghetto all around it.
I don’t see the appeal of those big rims..
Ohio is the strangest state- Hoosiers in the north, southerners in the south and yanks on the east. Very all-America vibe.
But yeah, Toledo is not a nice city- although it clearly once was.

Toledo is teetering. Even in the ghetto no one steals your amazon packages, but all the nice people are at home looking out their windows. Anybody you see walking around is 99% up to no good and looking for meth or an illegal gun.

It's an hour or so from Detroit and the crime has been imported into Ohio over the last twenty years.

We lived in Erie just across the bridge on Morin Point. My husband's whole family lived on the east side of Toledo and even then I tried to stay away from Toledo.

Ohio is nothing but guns and blacks. There's no white people there
