Real Estate is where it's at. Your home, your castle, your sanctuary. Focus all your efforts at that, and everything you need to survive on under any condition/s. What you use on a daily basis, and get lots of it. Water, food, electricity (if you like comfort and convenience), soap, etc. Take a close look at what you need and consume right now and store up lots of it.

No, from what I gather, the ammo manufacturers are starting to catch up. STARTING TO. It will still take some months but they have hired lots of new ppl, put on extra shifts, etc., so it is coming. Wait 6 months and we will probably see stock returning and more-reasonable prices.

The only good PM's are for is to give them away. That's right! Walk up to someone you appreciate and hold one of those coins up, and watch their eyes light up, then put it in their hand, and the first thing they say is, it's so heavy. Makes my heart smile! They make wonderful gifts and bonuses. And I have them now for that reason. And I also know they will serve other purposes in the future. But they are not the be all end all. Ya can't eat em!

I heard that so much ammo is being shipped to Europe and used by Ukraine and Russia right now that lead and brass are set to more than double. Ammo may come back but at twice or more today's price.

You can use bimetal or steel core rounds in a lot of 7.62x39 rounds to ease lead demand, but many other rounds have no effective widely available substitute and the rounds the west is shipping to Europe right now are lead bullets, not bimetal.

Yes, I hear people say the days of .30 cent 5.56 are nearing, then I go in and see the 1,000 round case of brass priced at .40 cents per casing. That's just the brass on the shelf without factoring in coming inflation or shortages caused by Ukraine.

I'm in a Red state . When Covid "hit" we had an invasion. Many cashed out and headed to the Great North but were too picky or just thought the real estate was over priced. There are many still in their R.V.'s waiting. Huge demand up here and very marginal "homes"on acreage get snapped up as long as they are "cheap". Cheap is under the $350,000k. Will it go down ? Of course but you have to rent. = $$

The trouble with land is that you don't REALLY own it. A little thing called "imminent domain" can dash that illusion in a heartbeat. For that matter you don't actually own ANYTHING... including yourself.

HARDLY! The 1oz silver Englehard bars I bought in the early 70's for $2.50 each are today worth well over $30. But, nice try! I just wish I still had all the ones I gave to the kiddies as Christmas stocking stuffers back then!
