Get a habit going and you are lost. Only Relationship With God can restore you to sanity regarding any addiction. you want to throw away what you know of God's love to chase a high you can never catch? There is never enough; nothing else matters. Consumed. A wretched life. A wasted life impacting all those who love and care for you. Sooner or later they realize the "you" they loved is gone and their efforts to help are worthless.

Maybe if you got terminal cancer or some other horrible living with pain issues, it could bring some relief. Junkies start on junk to find a solution to the pain they face in life. Pain of the self-willed. The pain of trying to control the world and people in it. The pain of playing god and really believing that if people would only do as you advise, everyone would be better off...


God does love HIS Creation. The Prodigal is gladly received back by The Father. I can't even count the number of people I know who have died in their addictions without finding their way back to God.

Trusting God fully and completely is the only choice for you at this crossroads. The way of the addict is nothing but pain, misery, and death.
