Katla has more ice over it's likely eruption zone than the last big one, which was the one that caused the French Revolution by destroying the chance for crops to grow across Europe with the ash cloud.

It would make the one from a few years ago look tiny.

Katla could start up at any time in Iceland.

I 100% believe this is the movement of one of the 'chunks' under the crust. I believe this movement is DOWNWARDS towards the core and is responsible for the earth spin increaing, like an ice skater that pulls her arms in during a spin. This could have important repurcussions on this side of the world (Tenerife) opposite Tonga.

Agree. I think Tenerife, since it's overdue like La Palma was.

The South Atlantic Anomaly continues to slide to the West towards the estimated 'new south pole' after the pole shft in the Galapogus. The new north pole is exactly where the geomagnetic pole is heading towards on a great line over Canada into Russia and now towards the south east of the Bay of Bengal. Both anomalies are heading towards the expected new poles.

There have been a lot of really deep antipode quakes over the last week or so. I never thought about any relation to the earths rotation.

If you listen to terral03 channel he says September 22nd is the day we switch from moving away and start getting closer to, the suns dark twin.

I know people say he made wrong predictions etc but it doesn't dismiss the data he's collected nor the model he made nor the bow shock on the wrong side of earth to the sun, which can only mean something on our dark side hit us with more energy than the sun was.

Seismic stuff should increase then, going into October, along with the taurids double stream this year and the commonwealth games opening ceremony showing meteors hitting earth and a giant bull.

It's all going to get very biblical.

EDIT: Calmed down right now BUT Etna is more active the last couple of days.

Vents in the crater are getting bigger and the dome in the crater is getting bigger and starts gassing like crazy.

Will keep an eye on events and report back if something would happen.

The floor of the Tajogaite crater is sprinkled with precious sulfur deposits and cracks through which we can find out the temperature of the ground, in this case only 11 centimeters deep.

Sulfur dioxide (SO2) remains one of the targets of our measurements in the crater. Revealed by its characteristic bluish hue, it is monitored by our scientists to understand what processes are still taking place almost 8 months after the eruption has ended
