User ID: 56382450 United States 11/29/2021 02:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is not necessarily true. I live 8 miles outside town. Most everything I need is available in my small town. I use much less fuel now than when I lived in suburbia. People who live in suburban areas think of things being just down the street but just down the street is 15-20 min away. Across town is often a 45+ min drive. When I go to the city and suburban area near me I spend most of my time and fuel driving in the city areas just to go to a hand full of stores. The other difference is that I don't need to go shopping as often in my rural life. In suburban life there seemed to be daily needs to go out for. So much more driving than I need to do now. He also argued low-income suburban drivers would benefit from electric vehicles because gas near urban areas was more expensive. “They would gain the most from having that vehicle, but these are the very residents who have not always been connected to electric vehicles that are viewed as kind of a luxury item,” Buttigieg said. He promoted Biden’s Build Back Better social entitlement bill for restoring a tax credit of up to $12,500 for union-made electric vehicles, noting “families who once they own that vehicle will never have to worry about gas prices again.” Mr Plug is obviously an idiot. When I drive to town, it's at least a 300 mile trip over mountains with a full load both ways. Yes, I have to pay for gas, but at least I get there and back, so the trip is productive. My truck and car are paid for in full, and insurance is cheap. If I bought an electric that could do that(if they exist), I'd have to pay real money, plus the increased electric bills, and far higher insurance. |

He should be pushing for urban people to buy electric vehicles because it will be much easier to get grants to put charging stations on parking spaces in cities than out by the general store in the agricultural areas. Where do they get these idiots? I'm thinking once they've take over they'll purge out people like this because they really are a liability to their plan. |

We store up, have stuff on hand and use very little gas. Being retired, it take me 4 months to use a tank of gas in my jeep. Who is going to pay for these electric cars for the low income peeps? ………… For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.….. |
