Quoting: Dr. Acula Dean was a pretty solid guy and didn't have his head up his ass like most Hollywood types. I have friends who worked with him. Hate to hear of his passing. He took the final leap home. [link to deadline.com (secure)] Great work on Battlestar Galactica (the more recent one), too. "Peace in our time? Despite briefly "dropping out, turning on and tuning out" back in the 60's, the guy was a pretty classy act whose performances matched that personality. He would usually take on projects that sent some kind of social message and I liked him for that alone from his first film I ever saw, THE BOY WITH THE GREEN HAIR - a 1948 anti-war movie you simply didn't see much back then that showed the toll such insanity took on kids. If you can find it watch it - it shows how much depth Dean Stockwell had even when he was only 12 years old. And Stockwell could easily hold his own when sharing the screen with some pretty powerful players; his turn in 1959's COMPULSION where he plays one of the psycho-killing pair that was Leopold and Loeb is proof of that. Even the overbearing Orson Welles as a scenery-chewing Clarence Darrow was no match for Stockwell's more shaded portrayal and he damned-nearly makes that entire movie his. Not surprising since he originated that role on Broadway two years before. Thankfully, I never watched QUANTUM LEAP so I have an entirely new [to me] catalog of what I'm certain are fine performances awaiting my enjoyment. RIP Mr. Stockwell... you earned it! I'm not "freaking out" but people like you really disgust me as you try to turn over every rock to support your theories... and BTW: I'm an anti-vaxxer. SO: where EXACTLY do you get those stats? There is nowhere on the planet where the average life-expectancy is 99 years. And that's a fact. The average lifespan of a male in the U.S. is currently 79 years, so NO it was not a "legitimate question" and you know perfectly well what that poster had in mind.
