Spiritual language gives neglect, thankless drudgery and abuse a lot of excuses. I've heard them all, mostly from you. A diet that my body rejects, and a lifestyle more involved than I have the resources to successfully pull off, all at someone else's behest have been the obvious cause of my discomfort, not the fact that I have a body. You tend to value pain too much, provided that it isn't your own. Your answers are not heartfelt or sincere, which to me means that your love isn't real, among several other signals. Anyway, if you can only love an ideal person and not a real one, there really isn't any point in asking you to be real with me, or in putting in overtime when I'm already sick. Thanks anyway.

If I see someone hurting, I usually don't call them a whiner or suggest things that aren't real as the cause. That's my proof of having suffered. As for your pain, if it was actual, I think it would extend to an unwillingness to cause it in others, or at the very least to own it when you do. And I'm not talking about a chaos-theory style great chain of responsibility, but directly doing something to someone else that causes them suffering and anguish. It takes a special kind of person to do that with an untroubled conscience, and the pain of that kind of person--while I would never directly cause it myself--is of minor importance to me.

Karma accumulated through past lives must be attained for. Some go so far as self flagellate. This does nothing, and in itself is violence inflicted by ones self.
