2nd NIGHT IN A ROW WAKING UP SHIVERING, FRIGHTENED, AND WORRIED

I don't know what's causing it. I don't remember my dream. All I can remember is waking up so fast I'm in sleep paralysis. I try to yell out but can't for a few seconds, can't move.

I then shoot up and I just sit there and tremble. What is happening? My life is good still, I have nothing hanging over my head that could be affecting me. I have a clear conscious. I'm not really a dream tard but something is up.

The only thing my wife and I can come up with is her Ex. He did a lot of business with cartels. He is half Mexican. He does practice Santeria. He did try to kill her. He and I have had arguments especially one that got physical right after he got out of prison 4 years ago and showed up at my old house unannounced to 'see his daughters' who hate him.

Recently I finely gained full custody of MY daughters from him. He gave up his parental rights willingly though so he could be released from child support.

I've been with my wife for almost 10 years now and this is the first time this has ever happened.

I don't know. This isn't my wheelhouse. I just know trees, doom, loving my kids, and trying to be a decent dude.

Anyone got any suggestions? I honestly feel like I've been spiritually attacked as I sit here at freaking 230a in the morning.
