Quoting: BFD Unjabbed Among 219,716 cases of Delta among the unvaccinated, there were 536 deaths. *ADE has entered the chat* [imgur] [link to imgur.com (secure)] Omg look at the age breakdown. Total delta cases Vaccinated over 50 = 51420 Unvaccinated over 50 = 6724 Vaccinated under 50 = 62403 Unvaccinated under 50 = 212989 What this says to me. If over 50 years old and unvaccinated you are doing much better than if you took the vax. If under 50 and unvaccinated you are much more likely to get Delta but still have a much better chance of survival compared to the Vaccinated. Don't take the vax. |

If over 50 years old and unvaccinated you are doing much better than if you took the vax. I'm over 50 and unvaxxed. I guess my type will be very rare soon. Maybe I will be one of the oldest living human beings on this planets soon. They will say: Look, a 60 year old man, he must be Methusalem". |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 77598481 United States 09/14/2021 12:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | his point was there were only 6,000 unvaxxed over 50. And over 500 of them died. While under 50 according to the stats unvaxxed were less likely to die. So it would follow that vaccination only benefits a slim potion of society, mostly the very old? Why then, the universal mandates if the vaccines don't stop spread and only "benefit" the elderly? |

It only studied between Jan 02 to July, but makes a pretty obvious conclusion. [link to www.ons.gov.uk (secure)] |

If under 50 and unvaccinated you are much more likely to get Delta but still have a much better chance of survival compared to the Vaccinated. Don't take the vax. For the under 50: There were 37 deaths in the vaccinated <50 among 62403 cases which means 0.06% mortality rate. There were 99 deaths in the unvaccinated <50 among 212989 cases which means 0.05% mortality rate. So this shows that with the under 50 group the vaccine did not really protect from death. For the over 50: There were 1054 deaths in the vaccinated >50 among 51420 cases which means 2.0% ortality rate. There were 437 deaths in the unvaccinated >50 among 6724 cases which means 6.5% mortality rate. So this shows that with the over 50 group the vaccine really did protect from death. Those are the numbers. |
