Buzz Aldrin admits the Moon Landing films were fake!

That was so long ago--I think he said it was something to do with rockets.

Way beyond my understanding, then and now!

He was given a problem to solve. He had an office with a blackboard and just crunched numbers all day. (when he wasn't working on papers to publish and advanced degrees)

Of course I don't know for sure, but I think he was given the equation or whatever and told to solve it, without knowing the real world significance.

I'm one of those people who does math. I'd have a good idea of whether I was working on approximations of the Navier-Stokes fluid flow equations, which tell you exactly what happens in weather except they were too difficult to solve -- that's getting better.

But maybe it was classified information and he couldn't tell you. Although in that case it would make more sense for him to tell you that, rather than letting his own child not understand what Dad did at work.

You've taken something said about a very specific thing and blown it up to cover everything to do with our going to the moon.

Buzz is right, for the landing to have been filmed FROM THE LANDING SITE, someone else would have already had to have been there or a camera set up at the exact place needed to film the landing.

On the other hand, the landings were filmed through the a window from the inside of the LEM.

This in no way indicates that we did not go to the moon and gather rocks and take pictures and come back to earth with them.
