I never went a single day stay at home because of COVID during this whole episode. I'm absolutely certain I got it and beat it 4th week of January before it was even a thing. (10,000 Chinese work and play at the Mohegan Sun casino were I went a week earlier. American culture spoiled Chinese are the best of people, really.)

Everyone needs to put this rut far behind them, get to work tomorrow and settle in.

Welfare didn't count the "pandemic" portion of unemployment, which for most was the larger portion of their payments. They still qualified for food stamps and other services throughout.

I'm curious as to how the cut will affect our economy.

7 million times at least $2,000 per month is 14 billion dollars less spent every month in this country. Fourteen billion dollars every 30 days lost is a whole lot of cash not being injected.

I don't know anyone, since COVID started, who has been unemployed. Not sure where all these people are that can't get a job. Everywhere I go, people can't FIND people to work, meaning there is an abundance of jobs.

That's not just for retailers, technology, manufacturing, skilled trades, labor, etc....There is a surplus of jobs available.

Not sure who these people are. I understand people are taking advantage of unemployment, but generally don't you have to show that you are attempting to obtain a job?

Im not working for anything less than $17 an hour.

Things have gotten so expensive it would be pointless to work for less.

I would rather unemployed then make less. I could qualify for rent assist
