So I went to change my password (Since the old one would not work) and there was a report if there was an authorized transaction so I did. Now the account is locked down and supposedly Coinbase will contact me. Could not get into my account from any device. Even though there was a 2 step ID process.

I think its a safety measure.....anything hinky and they lock the account until its sorted.....When I got a new phone, my 2FA didn't transferred over and They locked out my acct for 72hrs until I submitted ID via webcam....

Mostly Everything was transferred to Bitcoin That is as far as they got.

And the advantage of crypto currency is what again?

I got banned off coinbase for who knows what. Only used them to buy kratom which was legal in my state. Now they have permanently banned me and there is no way to contact them and get it fixed. I use Gemini now

Don’t leave any coins in Coinbase’s possession. That should go without saying.

Thanks for the flag. 3 of my major holdings were transferred to Bitcoin and I did not do it. When I saw the "Conformation" email i tried to log in. could not. Went to their site found a USA customer support number. (It was not in service). So I then went to the could not log in/change password link. It said something about unauthorized access so I hit that link and froze the account.
