I once had a horse.

He didn't like people much, a stallion.

If anyone tried to mess with him, he got all kinds of unruly.

So I turned him out in the pasture and grabbed some apples.

I sat down on the ground with my back to him and just was looking and the sky and waiting.

After a few minutes, I felt him get curious.

This horse wouldn't go to anyone, ever.

He was angry.

After about a half hour he got curious, and wandered over.

I felt him coming.

A few minutes later, he stuck his head over my shoulder.

I got up and gave him an apple.

We talked, and he let me touch him.

We were friends.

He changed then.

He saw my love.

That horse was a 10000 show horse and became a national champion.

A big black arabian stallion.

Me and him were good friends from then on.
