Or was there a trace of annoyance on your face? I believe there was eye-rolling involved. I don't know what lies they told you, but I can promise they were lies. Part of the words is an absolute slap in the face to the living God... Something about Him waiting patiently in line.... SERIOUSLY??!! Whoever wrote these words and even further, whoever sings them, in an oblivious degrading of our God, is spitting in the face of the living God and rendering Him "bowing down" to any number of things. "Waiting in line"???!!! How insulting. Let's go read His Word and find ANYTHING that even "hints" at Him doing anything of the sort. The bottom line, it renders Him "less than" ANYTHING or ANYONE in front of Him in that "line" and worse, ig's a dismissal of Who He is by the one assuming He would EVER be in a "line". Nauseating. It is because, as we seek Him, and pour out our thanks to Him, and praise and worship Him, that is how He places a "hedge of protection" around us, like armor, even unbeknownst to us, as we focus on and "celebrate" Him. He quietly just puts it all in place, and He has kept us from being "fearful and anxious" which are the "tools of the enemy". In the meantime we really CAN be still and know that He is God, and in quietness and in confidence find our strength, in Him. THIS is how He pours His peace into us, so much so, that it spills out onto others. As He quiets and blesses us, we in turn bless others, and share that peace, which is soooo desperately needed now, more than ever. Consequently she had gone mostly blind and could only see "shadows". She had not known human kindness or human touch and was terrified of humans. This man, after finding her, began the slow and painstaking journey of acclimating her to his voice, and associating it with the healthy food and vegetables and fruit he was bringing her as he talked to her. She had never had fruit or vegetables during the entire 10 years. Over time, she was beginning to respond to, and trust this man. He named her "Princess" because she deserved it (i agree) and she found a "forever home" where she will be loved and taken care of.
