The finding of the corpse wasn't all that off putting, it was the children who had just dined with the fellow the night before we had to explain it all to. How do you tell a child that Duncan (real name) did himself in because he could no longer live with himself? It was not a fun few weeks. I ate his sins unknowingly. All of it, terrible, horrible, tales of murder and bloodshed, villages wiped out man woman and child. I still pray for the man, he was a lost soul that ended up on the bad end of a hose way up in a tree. If you can avoid it...try and not run across a swinging body slightly bloated and in the heat of October. Don't we owe something to those who were either conscripted or served wilfully, now marred in the service they providing living with the inhumanity forced on them in the name of service. Then in that service only to find, it was all about strategic places, ancient archelogy and money. That they were killing families unlike own own, peaceful people just wanting food, shelter and a community to fit in. |

I did have the honor to know and served alongside a few. I successfully led a coalition of veterans in a nonviolent standoff and we won without violence .I didn't ask for it I got voluntold . I'm thinking and casting the dice one more time . see what happens next . I'm very lonely . everyday I am wish that I had a woman to stand beside me. Someone that I can hold and share conversations . or not speak at all just being comfortable with each other. I'm very shy . I do really stupid brave things while sober . I've saved six women who had been trafficked . providing protection shelter and food until they got clean and I was able to get them to a non local shelter for women who have been abused .
