Demons attack be 24/7, and I can usually pinpoint to within the second they hijack my train of thought into something negative or sinful. Knowing it is happening doesn’t make it easy to stop though… usually I’m just forced to watch as the demon makes my mind think things I would never choose to think. Yesterday I posted a couple threads and my inspiration came in the morning when I'm tired and more prone to being scripted. Anybody aware of when they're taken over and being scripted? So funny this was posted. I had a very similar thought yesterday evening when driving home. I see it like this. Our society has so much information coming in, from TV’s, phones, radios, external messaging (advertisements), etc. we can hardly stop the train of thoughts in our mind. It is during this state that we are more likely to follow the script, at best we have moments of not script following here and there. When we train our mind, and are able to slow or even stop the train of thoughts, we are then in a non script state. We can then dictate that which we think about and do, rather than random thoughts just popping up. During the day, stopping to meditate for a 5-10 minutes is a good way to slow the train of thoughts, and regain control of the mind. Good luck |
