America did not collapse in the way many currently expect.

You currently talk about a coming “Great Reset”. That will not happen, but there will be a coming global recession that many will consider a depression. There will be a joke abbreviation play on “WWJD”, which will be “WWDJ”, or “world wide depression junior”.

Washington’s response was to increase taxes and institute work programs much like during the Great Depression. It is of historical note that the crash, which will occur in 2029, occurs within days of TGD’s 100th anniversary.

The individual states of your current US union still exist, but in other unions or republics. The current organization of the US will still exist but will represent only 11 current states. The largest group of states will the the New Texas Republic, which will be organized in late 2031, with 19 current states as members.

In 2038, physical money no is no longer used. People are assigned basic identifiers at birth which are tied to electronic servers. Your fingerprint provides both your “print” identifier, coupled with DNA sampling taken which, in my time, can be done using lasers and is almost instantaneous. You place your thumb (or another finger if physical limitations are present) and funds are deducted from your internationally recognized account.

Because physical money is no longer in use, the technology used to create and print it is now public domain information. It cannot harm regional or worldwide economies.

The Directorate provides us with physical currencies prior to our phasing which cannot be detected; this is partially due to records which show serial numbers and other identifiers which are unaccounted for in timelines prior to ours.

New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, Massachusetts, and West Virginia. The federal capitol was moved from DC to Boston.

Food supplies will get more limited than they are at present in your timeline. Think levels at 2/3 of what they are currently. Not enough to create real, sustained starvation but there will be price increases and longer distribution times. Piracy on the highways and railways will become a major issue. There will be “folk heroes” created from law enforcement and pirates alike, depending on which areas of the world are affected at given times.

What do you find the most surprising thing about 2021? Are there details of our daily lives that you were not trained for and had to improvise?

As of 2038 sexbots are not sentient, but AI has helped create versions that are strikingly realistic and programmable to the tastes of the owner. There are mental health issues arising from their use. Roughly 40 percent of users are emotionally attached to these “machines”, which in my timeline, require biannual maintenance for the highest quality models. There is also a backlash against their use from men who understand these machines are “utilitarian”, as well as women who find it increasingly more difficult to find a mate. True marriage for love is considered to be a rare gift in my timeline. Arranged marriage is on the rise in Western cultures in my timeline

I don’t find much of anything surprising about 2021; I was 17 at the time. I certainly have a different perspective through my 35-year old adult eyes now. Personal introspection is a large part of our missions and we are trained for it psychologically.

Genetic mastering does not exist, however, much of current research into disease and its treatment is done via the individual’s own genetics. There is no work towards a “genetically pure” race. Not to my knowledge anyway. There is no DNA based caste system.

Universally required military is a no except for the United States of America (the 11 states in my timeline). The New Texas Republic does require 9 months of civil service post-graduation. This CAN include service in the Texas Gaurd but is not required to be military.

Christianity in North America is on the decline. Much discussion on the matter indicates that a massive amount of attention was placed on “The Year 2000” as the turning point for the “return of Christ” in the years prior to 2000. Since 2000 the numbers have seemed to decline at a rate of 1 to 2 percent per year. While North America may be in dire straits, worldwide is marginally better. In South America in my timeline, roughly 30 percent consider themselves Christian.
