User ID: 29469609 United States 05/20/2021 10:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's killing me. 3 days straight now - allergies from hell. It's everywhere - I could write my name in it. Constantly mopping, sweeping, wiping down everything and sneezing constantly. It's so bad that my right eye is twitching. I'm about to break down and buy some benadryl. Any home remedies? I've been drinking green tea with local honey and still no relief. Quoting: ElleMira Quercetin. Should help. I believe it also helps the cells absorb zinc so it's good to have around. |

User ID: 80129212 United States 05/20/2021 10:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, quercetin is great stuff, pretty quick difference to notice in breathing issues. Ask for behind-the-counter Alkalol at a non-box, old-family drug store. Used to be on par with hydrogen peroxide in price, so, inexpensive. Unknown great stuff, but you must ask a druggist or buy it online. Pour a teaspoon in one nostril; let it drain out the mouth, then the other side. Very refreshing treatment for sinuses, at least. Sounds like you're really having a time with it. Good luck. |

Build up your own system internally to alleviate the allergic reaction? Interesting - there's so much pollen here (in NH) that I could probably harvest it and sell it. |

Earlier this evening I had 2 glasses of wine and it made my allergies worse. I looked it up and found this: Alcohol and Allergies ... Experts have suggested that common components in wine, such as biogenic amines and sulfite additives, may cause allergy symptoms. Histamine is a biogenic amine that’s a key component in the body’s response to allergens. Sulfite can also cause symptoms similar to asthma and allergic rhinitis... Quoting: ElleMira Go collect a small bag full of the pine pollen, , and make a tea. Drink the tea for a week. Your body's immune system should stop overreacting to the pollen. The pine pollen is good for your health. I've done this myself. I did something similar with poison ivy. Eating the young stems in the spring. I used to be severely allergic to poison ivy, now I can handle the leaves without a reaction. Have an antihistamine on hand. |
